House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi took the lead this week in a high-profile lobbying effort to pressure San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone not to attend the controversial March for Marriage event, which she characterized as "venom masquerading as virtue."
Pelosi, who is one of the country's most powerful Catholic politicians, made a passionate appeal to the archbishop in a letter obtained by The Chronicle not to participate in the National Organization for Marriage's June 19 march on the Supreme Court in Washington.

This is how far we have come.
We now are officially saying that someone who supports traditional marriage, and opposes homosexual marriage, is officially attending a hateful spiteful event.
We are saying that a church official, who supports his church’s teachings on marriage as only being a man and a woman, is bigoted against the homosexual.
We are saying that wisdom resides only in the liberals, who are telling us that religious denominations are not to include a theology which excludes homosexual marriage.
We are saying that the likes of Nancy Pelosi are somehow fit to lecture church officials on what their theology should be.
I always like to review the vote on the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996. Many liberals voted for that law, including Joe Biden, Joe Lieberman, Chuck Schumer, Tom Harkin, Pat Leahy, among others.
Less than 20 years ago, even liberals were willing to say that marriage was a man and a woman, regardless of where they stood on other homosexual agenda issues.
Cursed be those who call good evil, and evil good.

You are correct sir. I believe that would be right out of the Good Book. There is another thing it says too. It says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. I do not take pleasure in that, I am merely saying, this is what that evil, scum sucking wench will experience. I would like to see the look on her face, when she finally recognizes the terrifying reality of a yawning, endless eternity in the lake of fire, where the pain, suffering, and agony go infinitely past infinity. I can not imagine the panic she and others have, when they try to figure out how they will endure it. I could not sleep at night, without knowing for sure, where I was going.
Interesting that they say this March for Marriage is a “controversial” event.
It wasn’t too many years ago, that the definition of marriage was settled, and was the least controversial issue in America.
But since liberals decided to push for homosexual marriage, the left defines anyone who wants to maintain the status quo as the radical. Those who push to change the definition of marriage are NOT considered the extremists. Instead, it is extreme to maintain the status quo, per liberal criteria.

It’s perhaps possible (as C. S. Lewis touched upon) that in their most extreme wickedness they may find some perverse pleasure in hell... they’d rather have a good eternal rage at God than to be in the sweet comforts of heaven, and the fire, from their viewpoint, only helps them to be madder at God. We’ve seen people wallow vindictively in their miseries here, and that may be only a faint picture of hell.
As Psalm 2 points out, God in turn laughs at them. What else can He do? He has offered them every chance and they have refused. So they have made themselves laughingstocks forever.

A very faint picture, I am sure. Not to get too far off the thread, but my opinion is, that Hell is not static. It is dynamic, in that, as the eternities of eternities roll on, they will become more and more evil. I think there is no limit on how evil they can become, and through out eternity, they will never reach the end of their capacity to become even more evil. I am certainly not dogmatic, but that is what I think.
Since we do not know all of the actual parameters of an eternity, either damned or blessed, we can only guess. One thing IS true, all human souls are larger than time as we know it. Whatever heaven is, hell is a thoroughly twisted imitation of it. What would you expect out of a demon that presumed to “rise above” God?
I also think, for all eternity, we will never understand what that infernal creature was thinking, when he rebelled. He was there, in the very presence of God, when He created the universe, and he still thought he could get the best of God. I guess it is the mystery of iniquity.
If one has to endure a 'background check " in order to get a gun
Senators , like Pelosi, should have to undergo a mental health check before taking office.
Just because you lie, and can get re-elected , doesn't mean that you are sane, or have a grasp of reality .
