Iraq's Maliki defies call to reach out, accuses Saudis of 'genocide'

Iraq's Shi'ite rulers defied Western calls on Tuesday to reach out to Sunnis to defuse the uprising in the north of the country, declaring a boycott of Iraq's main Sunni political bloc and accusing Sunni power Saudi Arabia of promoting "genocide".

Maliki has blamed Saudi Arabia for supporting militants in the past, but the severe language was unprecedented. On Monday Riyadh blamed sectarianism in Baghdad for fuelling the violence.

Maliki happens to be right. The Saudis are directly and indirectly financing this barbaric Sunni “Islamist” offensive

I gather his problem is he left Sunni generals and upper rank officers in charge. They abandoned their men who then, lacking orders, fled. Instead of reaching out he needs to purge. Iran is his only shia ally. Obama has backed Iran and his main adviser is Iranian. The Iraqis are in trouble.

“....accusing Sunni power Saudi Arabia of promoting “genocide”.

.
Hmm, they have a valid point.

Weren’t all but a couple of the terrorists on 9/11 Saudi nationals and aren’t the mosques in the US built with Saudi money?

Iraq is a proxy war between (Saudi via ISIS) versus (Iran via Shia Iraq).

Let’s get it on!

The US is involved, too. ISIS got its arms and training from the US to fight Assad in Syria.

Which is, weirdly enough, why we ought to be helping the Iranians reinforce the Iraqi Shiites...

Actually, there is information that we trained and equipped ISIS in Jordan of all places!

I seriously think that unless ISIS takes over quickly, the Shiites are going to “sectarian cleanse” the Sunnis out of Iraq. Since ISIS has threatened the king of Jordan, I suspect they will herd hundreds of thousands of them into Saudi.

And ole senile McCain wanted us to help the Saud’s fight ISIS. Yeah. Great move you clown. Qatar’s probably gonna come out and endorse ISIS. Followed by the House of Saud.

The USA trained and armed FSA, not ISIS.

ISIS did find a massive USA weapons cache in Iraq yesterday, including stingers. I wonder if they got tipped by someone.

Gosh, Sunnis in Iraq were being systematically scapegoated by Maliki and his “government” (which is just an Iranian proxy like Hizbollah) and when the alleged Sunnis take control in rapid order, the Sunni citizens go back to live under their rule.

Meanwhile, for ten years we’ve been reading that the Maliki regime has been systematically persecuting Iraqi Christians — but now suddenly, right out of the harangue rally scene in Orwell’s “1984” — the latest jihadist group is being blamed for all that as well, and listen to that drumbeat strengthen in the coming weeks, brought to you by the same jokers who always support the Iranian mullahcracy and other anti-US interests (iow, our enemies).

Genocide of one group of muzzies by another? You’re against that? seriously? Crawl out from under your bridge and be counted.

Maliki is right. The Saudis are bankrolling these maniacs.
They don’t want a Shiite nut state on the borders of their Wahhabi nut state.

We should stay out, pass the popcorn and watch the show as these maniacs kill each other. OR contribute to whatever side is LOSING at the meant to keep the show going
