The Collapsing Obama Doctrine
Wall Street Journal ^ | 6/17/14 | Dick and Liz Cheney

Cheney re Obama: Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.

As the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) threaten Baghdad, thousands of slaughtered Iraqis in their wake, it is worth recalling a few of President Obama's past statements about ISIS and al Qaeda. "If a J.V. team puts on Lakers' uniforms that doesn't make them Kobe Bryant" (January 2014). "[C]ore al Qaeda is on its heels, has been decimated" (August 2013). "So, let there be no doubt: The tide of war is receding" (September 2011).

Rarely has a U.S. president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many. Too many times to count, Mr. Obama has told us he is "ending" the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan—as though wishing made it so. His rhetoric has now come crashing into reality. Watching the black-clad ISIS jihadists take territory once secured by American blood is final proof, if any were needed, that America's enemies are not "decimated." They are emboldened and on the march.

Actually Brit Hume is dead wrong, the fact that Obama NEVER gets it right proves the problem is evil intent, not incompetence. Even the most incompetent person gets it right sometime by accident, or as we say in Carolina, “Even a blind hog finds an Acorn now and then.” The only Acorn Obama has ever found was a corrupt left wing, vote fraud operation.

Is Obama's failure to lead due to incompetence or is it because of something more deliberate and evil? Looking at the results of his policies and decisions in the past couple of years: if he is advised by his cabinet members, and IF HE IS LISTENING and making decisions based on their advice, then wouldn't it then make sense that all of them are incompetent? He ISN'T listening. He's working from his own playbook. His agenda is to TRANSFORM the U.S. Those that voted for him possibly assumed he meant the transformation to be a positive thing. Why would anyone want to deliberately destroy our country and cause needless suffering and pain to it's citizens in the process? A psychopath would. Characteristics and traits of a psychopath include: Charm and intelligence - smooth talker, leaving a false good impression on people; Egocentrism/narcissism - the world revolves around them, everything is about them and their needs, wants and desires; Pathological lying - full blown deceptions and manipulations, underhanded, without scruples; Easily bored, needing constant stimulation - thrill-seeker, risk taker; Guiltless and remorseless - no value judgement ability, warped sense of right and wrong, no empathy/cold-hearted, not feeling concern for the damage and suffering they inflict on other people, ruthless; Poor or no temper control - anger management issues; NEVER TAKING RESPONSIBILITY - blaming someone else and making sure everyone knows it; Unreliable - missing deadlines, caving in to temptation, easily frustrated; Lacking good sense and judgement - insisting on doing things their own way even when their way has been proven wrong; NO LONG-TERM PLANS.

I'm no expert, but it sure appears to me a good possibility that the man occupying the White House is a psychopath. Everything he has done in the past 6 years, every FAILURE, has been DELIBERATE and has inflicted some form of pain and/or suffering on the majority of American citizens. Most of what he has done has been through deception - the Affordable Care Act hasn't been affordable - it's made it harder and more expensive to get the right healthcare; and now the "humanitarian crisis" at our southern borders - Obama and his liberal cronies cry crocodile tears for the illegal children who supposedly walked thousands of miles through jungle and desert to get here, but unless every single one of them is returned to their homeland, they will undoubtedly become OUR problem - their diseases, their need for housing, their parents who, if not already here, show up and decide to stay; and half of those older "refugees" look like future gang members to me. In the end, WE suffer because of every ill-conceived policy that Obama promotes. I believe this evil man isn't as stupid as he appears to be - he knows exactly what he's doing, and he's enjoying every single minute of it.

When I see this photo of Cheney and dipshit, I get the feeling that Cheney saw right through Obomba. He looks as though he recognized him from some ancient memory.

This “Mission Accomplished” bull shit needs to be set straight. If you recall, Bush flew a helicopter out to greet the returning Navy troops after completing the mission they were sent on. Even Bush didn’t believe that the job in Iraq was over and said so often.

This Aircraft Carrier was sent to the Persian Gulf with a mission (in writing with probably 20 copies). The ACCOMPLISHED that mission and returned.

“One nuclear bomb can ruin your whole economy.”
I would say that strongly depends upon where it goes off.

Guess the terrorist could set it off in a desert wilderness, but not likely.

Nuclear weapons are actually fairly weak, far wearer and less powerful than the popular imagination would lead anyone to think.

You set off a nuke in the middle of Washington D.C. much of the down town area would be devastated but all in all most of the city would be intact.

So unless the weapon actually goes off near the Washington monument while congress in in session and the president is in the white house, your really talking about a relatively limited area of effect. With limited consequences, politically and provably no direct consequences economically.

Indeed almost all of the economic consequences would be a direct result of the surviving government’s actions. marshal law, using their army and police to shut down everything ect...

The actual force of the bomb itself would be relatively inconsequential.

Interesting. I didn’t know that. You’re probably better informed (since I know defense and military experts lurk here).

Doesn’t it depend on the size of the bomb? If it is a 100 megaton it could wipe out miles and irradiate a larger region, especially if set off near water.

The twin towers caused $33 billion in damages.

I think that the panic a nuclear attack on at US city would cause would result serious damage to the economy — even if it was a small nuke.

This this site accurate? http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/gmap/hydesim.html
