Why can’t the governors declare a state of emergency and put their National Guard on the border? Don’t let anyone across. Let mexico deal with them, they are party to this diabolical conspiracy.
The state picks up my fuel bill, I’ll fly top cover for as long as it takes.
Fake sign
I wish he was candidate for GOVERNOR, not Lt. Gov. I fear Abbott will go the way of Perry when he wins, kowtowing to the open borders GOP billionaires, like Bob Perry’s heir and the vile H-E-B CEO Charles Butt.
You’re correct.
Governor,The overrunning of the international border between the United States and Mexico, shared by Texas, effects all Americans. While a permanent solution to this calamity is being sought there are actions that can be immediately taken to mitigate the violation of State and National sovereignty as well as to reduce the human toll.
As Governor of Texas you have the necessary authority to order the state military forces and/or the reserve militia to the border to help control illegal entry to Texas. While not a decision to be taken lightly, men of good conscience can not allow this to continue indefinitely.
Therefore I ask that you consider exercising the authority vested in you by the Constitution and Laws of Texas to defend Texas and repel invasion.
Respectfully,

All the vehicles and merchandise flooding down I35 without a commercial license and towing multiple vehicles should be taxed. I see them every day. Cars, trucks, vans, school buses with towing gear pulling multiples of the same, and all vehicles packed with bicycles, kid toys, high chairs. This stuff is Mexico bound. Tax it to make up for the intruders.
I would add one more to the list.
Command the Texas Comptroller to stop remittance to the FERAL Government. No more money leaves Texas that is collected from Texas Citizens from payroll taxes to support the now defunct FERAL Government.
Use this money to secure the border by building the fence, manning the fence during the interim by TXDPS and Texas National Guard and Texas Citizens.
Use the money to round up and ship all the illegals we can lay our hands on out of Texas.
Secure our northern, eastern and western border.
SECEDE.......
Love the excise tax idea.
Dewhurst though is less RINO than Straus, who stays on.
Thanks much for posting this article/thread ;-)
Dan Patrick calling out La Raza Rick and Dewberry!!
The governor should mobilize the state militia.
Agreed. We got rid of Dewhurst, now it's time to get strip Straus of his speakership.

I-10 west bound coming out of the east coast is loaded with the same. Headed to Houston
and then south to the border. The same used to be true with junker cars but it got so
bad the Mexico put a limit on what could be brought in. I don’t remember the details but
it dealt with only specific year models could be imported in a particular year. Example
would be only 10 year old models were allowed in that year and advanced each year.
