JEB BUSH ADVISER AFTER CANTOR LOSS: LAURA INGRAHAM 'PAPER TIGER'

Conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham help propel Dave Brat to one of the biggest upsets in political history and may have helped destroy amnesty legislation in this Congress despite the hundreds of millions spent to push it.

Brat ousted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) last week when his message tying Cantor to crony capitalism and corporate welfare that stiffs working Americans only resonated after he started to hammer Cantor on his support for amnesty legislation. Brat, an economics professor, often said amnesty was the greatest issue that symbolizes the divide between Wall Street elitists and Main Street Americans.

But Mike Murphy, a conservative-bashing consultant who often acts like the "priests" he so despises, has been proclaiming otherwise, even though he did not even pay attention to the race. Murphy, a top Jeb Bush adviser who wants to destroy any suggestion that Republicans may not like amnesty in order to help his client, referred to Ingraham as a "paper tiger" on Sunday.

Not ideal, but it means three more kids aren’t being shuffled about foster homes or in institutional care.

Agreed, Ingraham has her RINO problems, as does Coulter. Even Levin gets tripped up when he’s ‘good friends’ with Rubio or Hatch.

But all three of them are good and outspoken about illegal immigration, which is more than most of the GOPe—or even many purported tea party types—have to offer.

Are you serious? The kids were far better off in orphanages in Russia and Guatamala than with a single mom in the U.S. who is a multi-millionaire?

There are plenty of ways for wealthy people to help underprivileged children besides adopting them.

I’m with Dan Quayle (and Candice Bergen) on this one. Single motherhood shouldn’t be celebrated, praised, or held up as a role model.

Here we go with the black and white thinking... because something isn’t an ideal paragon, therefore we must curse it.

How about prayers that the woman may get married? No, that is too gracious. The Official Spirit Of Criticism And Vengeance will never brook it!

Who is celebrating, praising, or holding up as role model?

Children having children by drive by fathers are one of the most destructive happenings in our society and certainly nothing to be celebrated.

But I don’t see any problem with Laura adopting the children in her circumstances.

No, I am not confusing her with Ann Coulter (and yes, I know about Coulter’s support of Romney). Read on.

What I read a lot on FR during 2012 was that Ingraham was highly supportive of Romney and often had him on her radio show, and gave him effusive praise. I myself heard her interviewing Romney on a couple occasions and was astonished that she obviously thought that he was the best candidate. One could also feel the affection she had toward the man.

Stating that Romney should bring his A-game to the election and stating that she was not happy with his political consultants is not exactly criticism of the man himself; it seems to me that such comments dealt strictly dealing with tactics. She still, from all I read and heard personally, thought that Romney was the candidate to beat Obama.

I followed this closely and after hearing the last interview with Romney I discontinued listening to the woman forever, which is in concert with my refusing to listen to talk show hosts with whom I deeply agree.
