40% of the illegal alien population got here legally and then overstayed their visas. Securing the border is possible if we have the political will to do so, but it is only one part of the solution. We can have work place verification to shut off the job magnet. We can enlist state and local law enforcement to leverage our resources on finding and deporting illegals. we can have a system that tracks and deports visa overstays.

There must be a comprehensive enforcement effort to stop illegal aliens from staying and working here. We can reduce legal immigration. We can eliminate birthright citizenship.

If you believe that we lack the political will to do these things, then the country is finished--at least the way we know it.

I think that those in power now completely lack the will to do anything about stemming the tide of illegal entry and once-legal overstays.

I also believe the RINOs hoping for power won’t do a damned thing about it in deference to big business’ misguided notion they can maintain higher profits with illegal (to be legal) labor.

Don’t get me wrong. Most of this country is against this, but the power structure today ignores them on a daily basis, supposedly for their own good.
