40 Indians ...In Iraq and Saudi Arabia it is the Indians who keep the place going. They work in lowly jobs, and at the highest technical levels. 40 Indians? That might be enough to just about cripple the prospects of anything useful being done in that neighborhood.
BTW, The Indians are uniformly treated pretty badly. Lower pay than Europeans and primitive living conditions, with very strict rules about time off and home leaves.
Very strict guest-worker hierarchy: Americans/Brits on top, Other Euros next, then Muzzie techies, usually Palestinians and Egyptians, then Indians, Pakis, Afghans, Filipinos, with Sudanese and Somalis on the bottom.
