Harley dealers and riders refused to back the V-ROD for not being a “true” Harley. Imagine what those knuckleheads will say of an electric bike.
Imagine what those white trash riders will think when they find out Harley outsourced jobs to a notorious H1B visa scammer. Don’t worry, they offered their old employees their jobs at much much lower rates so they aren’t all bad...

I wonder if they market tested it in carefully selected focus groups of fat, bearded felons who like to ride in large groups making lots of noise.
There are plenty of V-rods out there, and I don’t know of a dealership that refused to sell bikes of any kind. Hell some people bitched about fuel injection too, but they were outliers just like those that bitched about the V-Rod.
