Jeb Bush -- A Formidable Candidate for President
The Huffington Post ^ | 06/19/2014 | Lanny Davis

Posted on 06/19/2014 3:09:38 PM PDT by detective

OK, OK. To the Bush family, and particularly to former two-term Florida Gov. Jeb Bush: Don't worry. Let me start, up front, by saying: I would never vote for Jeb Bush for president. He is way too conservative for me.

Now that that's over with, I think Bush is a really good guy -- a good person, good father, good husband, good brother (to my Yale College friend, two-term President George W. Bush) and good son to his great, great dad, former President George H.W. Bush.

Jeb Bush's positions on two issues, in my view, make him formidable against a Democratic presidential candidate in 2016: education reform and immigration policy.

The GOP is the enemy of America.

Well then, I assume you'll be voting for Hillary for president...and an entire slate of Democrats.

Or are you thinking that a Libertarian will win....Bwaaaaha.

But at least he's not some right wing Christian lunatic who wants to eliminate spending, starve the elderly, enslave blacks, rape the environment, force women into back-alley abortions and impose a Christian theocracy on America.

LOL. Yes, Jeb Bush is a perfect, really perfect Huffington Post “Formidable Candidate For President”.

Why, you ask? Simply because he has the two major qualifications:

1. He has almost no chance of winning.
2. In case that small chance comes to pass he would govern like any other Democrat.

Perfect. Win-Win.

The MSM is trying to pick the next loser for Conservatives like they did the last two times.

People buy it too, that’s the sad part.

He would be a terrible nominee and a terrible president. We can only hope GOP voters are smarter than that but judging from the past, I don’t think so.

If you listen to the Democrats they will tell you who they fear, and who they do not.
If Lanny Davis wants Jeb to run, they are certain they can beat him.
On the other hand, Democrats are clearly terrified of Scott Walker and Ted Cruz.
Pay attention voters.

Rush used to mock Lanny during the Clinton scandals because Lanny could not say proof. It would come out poof, well Lanny we are going to need to see some poof that Jeb would be a good candidate because right now conservatives are through with the Bush family.

The Bush haters offer no alternative.
They live only to bash the establishment and will never be content with ANY one either party puts up.

Some are Libertarians and would love to see their party win something, anything. Of course, they never do. They never will.

HOWEVER, the Libertarians, as always, DO have some amusement value for us. They live in the Twilight Zone....Rod Serling and the dododododododo music here.

I learned something interesting about Lanny Davis shortly after 9/11. He was being interviewed on a foreign TV news program (it may have been a BBC interview) and the host said something that was very critical of the Bush administration. To my surprise, Davis went right back at the guy and gave him a verbal thrashing.

Turns out Davis and George W. Bush were classmates at either Yale or Harvard, and may have even been fraternity brothers. Go figure.

He should take his wetback bride and go to Mexico and never return!

What a horrifically UN-Christian thing to say. SHAME on you.

The paradox sentence of the day: Jeb and formidable in the same sentence.

Not buying it, Lanny.
