That is a great movie. Wish I had two hours to watch it again.
Later
Is it just me or are six out of six principles tea party principles?
That reads like the Tea Party Manifesto. Powerfully stated and unapologetic.
You go Brat!
Breath of fresh air.
I think it is brilliant.
“His new campaign manager, Amanda Chase, Brat pointed out, served as Eric Cantor’s political director during the 2010 campaign.”
That doesn’t sound good....
- - - These principles, are in brief, Brat said, first, a commitment to the free market system. Second, equal rights and equal justice for every single person in this nation under law. Third, fiscal responsibility for all levels of government. Fourth, adherence to Constitution of the United States of America to protect our liberties. Fifth, we believe peace is best preserved through a strong national defense. Sixth, and finally, we believe that faith in God as recognized by our founders is absolutely essential to the moral fiber of this greatest nation on the earth. - - -
Good for him.
He, the republican party, needs to have members that are officers of some type sign an oath agreeing this. Those that cannot or will not sign, can join the democrats.
Many, many years ago, when I was an elected republican in a very large county I was surprised and embarrassed by extreme liberalism in the republican party. I tried to get them removed from the party by just reminding them of the republican planks, but they wouldn’t go. And other members said that the republicans needed to enlarge their tent. To me, this was a way of saying that the republicans needed to become democrats. I did all I could and basically got kicked out - oh well; never went back to join that anti-God, baby killing, homoloving republican group. This was way before we have what we call the GOPe today.
As I recall, there was a Christian college a few decades ago that was having problems with some professors that had become liberal. A new president came in and required all officers to sign an oath, about 1/3 couldn’t/wouldn’t sign it, so they left the college. This is what needs to happen. Get rid of the liberals that are invading conservative entities.
Good for Brat!! Go Brat!
