All it takes is a logbook entry by the PC to ground the aircraft. Just come off the flightline with a contaminated fuel sample. That will ground the fleet for a few days, at least.
I would not say they are innocent...
I would say that the administration, if true history ever were to be revealed...That crimes committed by these officials would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...
And that the political consequences would be devastating to the democrat party and the political ideologues given no credibility ever again...
But it is a pipe dream, because there is a segment of the population in this country that are dumber than a bag of hammers, and that their ranks are out growing conservatives on a daily basis, no matter what we do...
So we are left with a mess that is unlikely to be resolved, and only exasperated by the narrative that passes for news these days and the propaganda it supports for the continued destruction of the rule of law in this country...

IMHO this border fiasco is the beginning of the end for our Constitutional Republic. Recently in Egypt 33 million people took to the streets to protest a growing tyranny. Could the U.S. muster 33 thousand?
We have come down to it now, Americans: either we remain a free constitutional republic or we become one of the worst tyrannies in the history of the world.
Which will it be?
The governor certainly has that power — I don't think he'll be using it any time soon though.
