Personally I wouldn’t be all that surprise to have them knock on my door someday. Sadly when they do though I will more than likely never know for sure It will be a FReeper who will ‘turn’ me in for being a prepper.

They don't need that. You turned yourself in as a prepper and put yourself on the list by posting here as a leader, although they don't (yet) have probable cause for a warrant and no one on FR can give that to them. All they need is some local shoplifter who will give them probable cause in return for dropping the charges against the petty thief: "Yup, I heard Kart say he had . . ."

I have personal experience with your scenario ... it happens and they do not admit mistakes nor even attempt to be lawful.

They had "heard" there was a militia in this area ... and the whole thing escalated beyond normal, sane conversation.

It got down to; "Does your mother know you're still a liar" type questions and lawyers are afraid to go with jury nullification.

(Suffice it to be, I am not divulging anything here except .... yep .. what you said ... and it doesn't have to be an overt "turning you in")
