The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) doesn’t have designs on just Iraq and Syria. It has published maps in which its envisioned Islamic state encompasses not just those two countries, but also Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus, parts of Turkey, and (of course) Israel. But it doesn’t stop there, either. Clearly ISIS plans to mount jihad terror attacks in the United States – and there are numerous indications that such an attack could come sooner rather than later. 8. Last Wednesday, a jihadist calling himself Abu Rashash Britani, who claims to be from Britain and now waging jihad with ISIS, expressed outrage on Twitter at the recent murder in Britain of a Muslim woman, Nahid Almanea. Britani ranted: “These kuffar getting out of hand, dare they touch a Muslimah. I call upon any brother to take up a knife and kill as they did [in] Colchester. Muslim sister killed by kuffar in UK. Allahu Mustahan [Allah is the one whose help is sought]. Where is the outcry by media? oh yeah she was a Muslim.”
In the U.S., meanwhile, groups like the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Georgetown University’s Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding energetically spread the myth that Muslims in the U.S. are routinely victimized by “Islamophobic” discrimination, harassment and attacks. How long before ISIS calls for revenge attacks here as well as in Britain?

I think ISIS, as such, is one of the less likely groups to attack the US here. They are ideologically focused on attacking Shia and insufficiently fanatical Sunnis more than infidels. Their notion is to unite Islam first, as bloodily as possible, then turn the united forces of Islam on the Great Satan.
A quite literally insane plan. The disproportion of forces is far greater between Unitd Islam and the United States than it was between the USA and Japan in 1941.
However, I think your basic argument is correct. The successes of ISIS will encourage jihadists of various types around the world to attack America and Americans.

A strong Conservative is made when a liberal is mugged. Let’s hope if ISIS does attack the US ( I don’t wish for it but if the inevitable occurs)then it will likely be in an area of the country where gun control is strict and personal protection is of no importance to the politicians. OTOH if they attack a Red state then wish for harm to come to them from CCW owners.

I don’t necessarily agree with your take on elitist control — Sherman Logan’s chaos concern seems more plausible — but truly indeed, we are NOT represented by those elected to office.

ISIS attacks USA—Obama will use it to cancel the elections in November! He will promiss to restore them next year but never will. Due to the crisis he will ban the 2016 election and rule as a 3rd Term (maybe changing the VP to Hillary)—Harry Reid will support this move. An accident will happen to Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin-—a plane will go down (hit by a drone)—such things will happen to all who disagrees with Obama. Maybe I should change to decafe!

It’s been quite a while since I spoke with Valerie Jarrett like Rupert Murdoch recently did.
My own Congressman is Scott Garrett. Very conservative, relatively speaking. But if a bunch of small business folks from my district give feedback to his office, and a he actually makes some moves on existing legislation or even presents his own bill, and this contains our local suggestions from us “sheeple”, by the time it passes into law - our wording will be squashed. What started out as being beneficial for small business will be twisted and contorted by poor Mr. Garrett and the rest of Congress into serving the interests of the elites - against the interests of us sheeple. I’m not even really saying it’s his “fault” per se, because if he constistently thwarted the efforts of the elites of this country, he’d be quickly gone from Congress. Perhaps he is really trying. But the influence of the elites’ “experts” is what rules the offices of members of Congress.
I haven’t tried getting one of my toadies elected to Congress yet, but somehow I don’t think that’s too realistic.
So... I see no evidence of “representation” of the sheeple in my district - whatsoever. And that’s with one of the best members of Congress.
As far as being “ruled”, I’ve yet to find any way to not be subject to the laws of this land. It’s difficult as a sheeple to not be subject to the laws of this land - it’s never been successfully achieved by a sheeple.
Of course, the elites are never subject to such a silly thing as the law; they’re only subject to doing the will of the master elites. Within those boundaries, they can do as they please. The law is just a minor inconvenience for the elites, which they let their lawyers handle.
But us sheeple are ruled by the law. The laws are created by our politicians. And our politicians’ laws are always in favor of the elites and they are increasingly actually against the interests of the sheeple.
Of course, the laws are always touted to be in the interest of the sheeple, but a careful understanding of the fine print reveals exactly the opposite.
The elites have simply allowed us sheeple a long leash for quite some time. They appear to be increasingly more blatantly anti-sheeple nowadays.
