Absolutely...What few water and property rights we have left will be usurped by federal slugs like these siding with Agenda 21.

Tar and feathers are called for, at the very least.

What is more productive for the country, a federal bureaucrat who is fully employed making rules, enforcing rules, shuffling papers, or one who has been fired and now collecting unemployment?

Obviously, we are better off should we fire as many bureaucrats as possible even if we have to pay for their food stamps.

Socialists are of the (unfounded) opinion that the more bureaucrats the better off the country will be. But like all things socialist, this is “unsustainable”, a concept the socialists themselves love to scold us about.

And in the long term, private employment will grow to accommodate the augmented workforce. It may not look like the production patterns of yesteryear but it will be more productive than the work of a regulating bureaucrat.

If the law is so harmless, why is it there?
What will stop EPA from changing to the interpretation of the law at any time.
Agencies should not have to power to make their own legislation.
EPA should be abolished or reduced to a small advisory panel to congress, nothing more.

"The House Appropriations Committee passed a bill on June 18 that funds the Energy Department and the Army Corps, and included a provision that would prohibit the Army Corps from working on the water rule."

The article is lacking many important details.

Many local governments on the CO Rockies (including Republican majority counties) already have plans and regulations to enforce against owners of properties on "wetlands" and the like, so the Corps of Engineers wouldn't even be needed. Some of the areas being talked about are indeed nothing more than trickles, ditches, dry gulches, etc.

Don't lose focus on state and local governments by being mesmerized by vague, generalizing propaganda about federal issues. Remember that much pork flows from federal government to state and local governments, and many of those local governments are intent on receiving devalued properties through NGOs. Many local constituents are doing all that they can to prevent any new competition against their favored business investments.

And do educate yourselves and get involved locally.

Defund the EPA!

Don't defund it, dissolve it!
