KYIV, June 21 /Ukrinform/. The United States does not rule out that Russia is accumulating tanks on the border with Ukraine in order to support separatist militants.

State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said this at a briefing on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"We are confident, as we said last Friday, that Russia last week sent takes and rocket launchers from a deployment site in southwest Russia into eastern Ukraine. We have information that additional tanks have been prepared for departure from this same deployment site, and that's more recently," Psaki said.

In addition, she said, the State Department has information that "Russia has accumulated artillery at a deployment site in southwest Russia, including a type of artillery utilized by Ukrainian forces but no longer in Russia's active forces."

In this regard, she said: "We believe Russia may soon provide this equipment to separatist fighters."

Psaki said that the United States is "closely watching" the situation.

Under Obama, our State Department has been reduced to simply reporting the news instead of making it. And our CIA operatives have been reduced to the level of foreign correspondents who collect information so that someone named Jen Ptaki at the State Department can play anchorwoman once a day and report what Obama’s propagandists want us to know about what’s going on in the world.

Meanwhile, the BBC News Channel gathers and reports international news 24 hours a day with ten times more journalistic talent and accuracy than Ms. Ptaki and company, and the BBC also includes a constant series of video news clips to enlighten its audience.

If the U.S. is not going to get involved in its usual role of fighting against tyranny around the world, we might as well disband the State Department, the CIA, and the Department of Defense.

A few A-10s would take care of that little tank problem for them.

Maybe we could let them borrow a 3 or 4 for a week or so.
