That’s a cute dress, as far as I can tell, but good gravy! It’s got a self-fabric belt with it, and then she had to put on a second, unrelated one.

As I sometimes tell my 14-year-old daughter, “It’s probably not your fault that you have absolutely no taste. Maybe it’s genetic.”

I’d go hungry too if I had to eat Michelle’s school lunches.

I went to elementary school in the 60’s. Mother packed my lunch box with a PBJ sandwich and a fruit. Dad gave us kids each 4 pennies for a milk. We had cereal for breakfast (my favorite was a shredded wheat biscuit or wheat chex). All 6 of us sat down for supper and had a dinner at 5 PM. Junk food for me back then was saltine crackers. I hate cookies. If we had ice cream for dessert it was ice milk(cheaper). 45 years later all 4 of kids are still flat bellies.

People have been feeding their children for thousands of years or we wouldn't be here.
Michelle just discovered nutrition and her notion that no one else can figure it out only shows the complete contempt she has for everyone else in America.

Perhaps she can blame her ivy-league education on the fact that she can’t dress herself as well ;’)

Before coming to the White House, I struggled, as a working parent with a traveling, busy husband, to figure out how to feed my kids healthy, and I didn’t get it right.

Our pediatrician had to pull me aside and point out some things that were going wrong.

I thought to myself, if a Princeton and Harvard educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?

My grandmother had nine kids at home when my grandfather died unexpectedly in 1934. Not having anyone in the family that could do more than take in two daughters for a while, she… ahh… "struggled" a bit herself as a working parent (without a husband, traveling or otherwise). The family's poverty was considerable and the belts were usually being tightened, but somehow, that very plain farmer's daughter - who had no more education than what a rural one-room schoolhouse circa 1910 could provide - figured out how to get herself and her kids through the day(s) without the subsidized food and extracted monies Michelle Obama and Tom Vilsack redistribute to reliable voter blocs.

If grandma had gotten an Ivy League education, she might have been able to steal enough from someone else to feed dad and his siblings the sort of things Sasha and Malia get, but she'd have been s**t out of luck figuring out how she was going to feed everyone on her own hook. Good thing for her many descendants that she wasn't a Princeton and Harvard educated professional woman.

Excellent point. Look at Hillary Clinton as a confirming data-point.

Mommy narrative + Obamacare obedience meme + grotesque insult to intelligence = cognitive dissonance programming tuned to antidepressant vulnerability resulting in kneejerk urge to vote Democrat.

All Mooch had to do was read what they put in front of her, and then break for lunch - wagyu beef, lobster thermidor and Cristal.

Too frickin’ stupid to feed her own kids but she is qualified to feed all of YOUR kids.

I believe what Michelle is trying to explain to us is that she was able to get through 6 years of Ivy League schools without learning anything useful.
