Rand Paul recently affirmed that the United States must not send any money to countries that persecute Christians, since Obama is supporting the jihad in Syria which has slaughtered countless Christians.
Rand Paul said:
Theres a war on Christianity going on, and sometimes youre being asked to pay for it I say not one penny to any country that persecutes Christians.
Rand Paul, of course, was referring to the persecution in Syria, that America is supporting:
The vast majority of Christians in Syria, though, are on the opposite side of the war There is an irony that is impossible to escape Our tax dollars are funding Islamic rebels, who are killing Christians.
He also made this very revealing message:
I fear that some in our nation and some in our party have forgotten the first part of the sentence, that peace should be our goal even as we build our strength Some in my party have distorted this belief in peace through strength into a misguided belief that we should project strength through war.
He also mentioned the persecution in Iraq, which was caused by the Iraq War, saying:
During the Iraq War, think of what happened: A quarter of a million Iraqi Christians fled Iraq Where did they go? They headed mostly for Syria
Rand Paul is absolutely right in this regard, and we must help the persecuted Christians.
Then can I stop paying taxes to the USA?
"...not one penny to any country that persecutes Christians..."
Is he saying we he'll abolish the US tax code if we election him?
Complaining about not being able to put up a Christmas tree while Christians in the Middle East are getting beheaded is a lot like feminists complaining about being called “honey” while Muslim countries practice female genital mutilitation.
Then Rand would have to defund his OWN country.
We’ll not give them one penny. BUT we will give the silent money, the folding kind.
Rand has painted himself once too often with a liberal brush. Once in the running, he has fallen to the wayside with Ryan and the Rube.
I totally agree. That means we no longer have to send money to any country in the Mideast. We can now afford to treat the veterans.
I say not one penny to any man who supports amnesty.
That is the purpose, to maintain a collection of soundbites and symbolic arguments that his supporters can use during the primary, to derail discussions of what he really is.
how about not a penny to those countries sending their illegals to our country!
How about giving “direct” support to the Christians, rather than starving them out!
