Rand Paul recently affirmed that the United States must not send any money to countries that persecute Christians, since Obama is supporting the jihad in Syria which has slaughtered countless Christians.
Rand Paul said:
Theres a war on Christianity going on, and sometimes youre being asked to pay for it I say not one penny to any country that persecutes Christians.
Rand Paul, of course, was referring to the persecution in Syria, that America is supporting:
The vast majority of Christians in Syria, though, are on the opposite side of the war There is an irony that is impossible to escape Our tax dollars are funding Islamic rebels, who are killing Christians.
He also made this very revealing message:
I fear that some in our nation and some in our party have forgotten the first part of the sentence, that peace should be our goal even as we build our strength Some in my party have distorted this belief in peace through strength into a misguided belief that we should project strength through war.
He also mentioned the persecution in Iraq, which was caused by the Iraq War, saying:
During the Iraq War, think of what happened: A quarter of a million Iraqi Christians fled Iraq Where did they go? They headed mostly for Syria
Rand Paul is absolutely right in this regard, and we must help the persecuted Christians.
This is something that agree 100% with Rand.
Same here.
Now, when do we see Rand Paul start to gather his GOP-e Brethren to stop all funding of the Obama regime?
I agree, but what about the persecution of Christians in America? It is getting out of hand. The Bible is considered hate speech. The Bible is considered intolerant, judgmental and bigoted. The persecution has not gotten physical yet, but I think it will soon enough. The Libtards are still programming the American people, to consider Christians to be "haters" who deserve to be killed. We may end up going underground, like the Christians in China. It is coming folks.
Two countries come to mind immediately:
1. Sudan. No foregin aid should be provided, either directly or through the U.N., to a country that has sentenced the wife of an American citizen to death for the crime of being a Christian.
The second country is a more difficult case. Its government has been forcing Christians to pay for abortions for years through their taxes and has become more brazen in recent years, passing laws requiring Christian-owned companies to provide abortion services to their employees. The federal judges of this country have been compelling states to permit homosexual marriage regardless of the wishes of local voters, and high government officials have even gone so far as to publicly rebuke a Catholic Archbishop for attending a “March for Marriage”.
Francis Cardinal George, 2010
I would not doubt any of that. This is not just a passive falling away from God, it is an absolute, in your face, active, deliberate, militant, rabid, Satanically inspired apostasy. I don’t know how else to put it.
AMEN, I say AMEN ,Again
Nice to see him finally GET SOMETHING RIGHT again.
All I’ve heard from him, lately, is that we need Amnesty, felons should vote, and Voter ID is racist.
He hasn’t been doing us (or himself) a whole lot of good since he nearly rode his filibuster to the 2016 nomination (but then dropped himself out, due to the above stunts).
The House controls the purse strings.
The House is controlled by the Republicans.
The fiscal year 2015 starts 10/1/14.
The appropriations bills are being developed now.
GOP, use the power of the purse!
Put the Demons front and center on “in your face” restrictions.
You know they would, and have, done the same thing if the roles were reversed.
They will ALL talk big. Huff, puff, send a lot of letters with ALL CAPS and then when the times comes....CRY AND CAVE.
I don’t believe any of them.
How about not one penny for nations swarming our borders with kids.
Which is understandable considering the demonrat party's demands for anytime abortion and homosexual marriage.
Christianity, given their motives and goals, is their enemy.
Remove the conditions, and I'm on board. Not one cent to ANY country. Let the people of their own country foot the bill for their own governance. I'm tired of paying half my check to the government, in part, to fund foreigners.
Well! Finally! A politician with a pair???!!! Is he the only one?
Many of Obama’s regulations and executive orders are meant to regulate Christians and Jews.
Without taking that stand, being pro-life is hypocritical. It's also an issue which will move voters away from dems.
Cruz/RandPaul or switch the order could win if the RINO backstabbers don't defeat them.
Dude, you’re living in a country that persecutes Christians, as a course of public policy.
Pakistan is another. We send them billions every year.
Tough words are flying left and right from Republican polticians right now that have no meaning other than getting the party past the 2014 elections with a win, then we get the hard truths like amnesty for illegals at the hands of Republican Party politicians and a lot of obvious caving on other issues from gay marriage to Common Core to more debt and bailouts.
