rand paul for president ? president of what ?
Or he intended to.
The conservatives/libertarains are starting to sound like they are on drugs...this side today and the other side tomorrow.
So, will McCain go back to calling him a wacko bird?
We need to deport Rand Paul and have him live in Iraq for a few years. If he doesn’t understand the situation there, he will quickly learn that Bush was right after living there for a few years (provided he can survive for that long).
If Paul’s just spewing anti-American blather because he’s anti-American himself, then we need to deport him out of our own self-interest.
The lack of meaningful post war “guidance” allowed the Shia to do to the Sunni what Saddam had done to them. This fiasco is 100% Obama. Now the ISIS has the “nonexistent” WMD.
Paul and all those like him need a good ass whoopin.
Who needs Democrats when you’ve got Rand Paul carrying their water on Iraq and immigration.
President of political trolling. Might as well be a liberal.
Recently RP has shown his true colors. FURP!
Can we blame both?
Disgraced ex-President/lifelong pervert Bill Clinton never had the balls to do anything about it so he, along with his fellow yellow-bellied, America-hating Libhole commie friends, pushed President Bush into taking action.
And then, when he did, they immediately started screaming bloody murder.
Jerks.
I loath this guy more every day. . .he’s a Mitch suck up and can’t be trusted ever.
So, if POSOTUS is blameless, why is he trying to rectify a situation that is directly related to his prior rhetoric and to his recent actions in Iraq? AFP. The federal reserve note stops at POSOTUS’s desk.
Grandstanding Rand?
This is out of the McCain playbook.
Say nasty things about other republicans so that the MSM will give you airtime.
What a fool.
Rand Paul is a POS. It is time for all to realize that. He is over his head now, and will never be presidential material.
He is listening to Glenn Beck way too much.
Bipartisan ? I don’t think so .
Rand is a blooming idiot
This is definitely a dumb comment on Rand Paul’s part. First, Obama has had the presidency for 6 years. It’s not as if he’s stood by helplessly watching the aftermath of Iraq because he had no input. In fact, Obama did have input and he did make decisions that had an impact on the ground in Iraq. So, whatever else Paul might believe, he should recognize that there is a least some shared responsibility for the outcome in Iraq.
Second, Dick Cheney was Vice President. He might have been counselor to a president, but the name on the dotted line was George Bush. What that means with this Rand Paul soundbite is that Paul was appealing to the old smear that Bush was a figurehead president. I think that’s wrong. Why? Because Cheney is combative and more than willing to talk and defend his policies. The White House in the Bush years was quiet in its own defense. It was crickets. It is Bush who believed in living above the fray, not Cheney. So, the very tone of the White House suggest Bush control and not Cheney control.
Third, Paul is calling into question the entire Iraq mission with this comment. I think there’s more than sufficient reason to believe that Saddam aided, abetted, provided comfort, and or support to those who had sided with al Qaeda.
