Since President Barack Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued 2,827 new final regulations, equaling 24,915 pages in the Federal Register, totaling approximately 24,915,000 words.

The Gutenberg Bible is only 1,282 pages and 646,128 words. Thus, the new EPA regulations issued by the Obama Administration contain 19 times as many pages as the Bible and 38 times as many words.

The Obama EPA regulations have 22 times as many words as the entire Harry Potter series, which includes seven books with 1,084,170 words. They have 5,484 times as many words as the U.S. Constitution, which has 4,543 words, including the signatures; and 17,088 times as many words as the Declaration of Independence, which has 1,458 words including signatures. …

I wonder how much of this is redundant busy-work to justify budgets, and how much is direct-effect stuff. People try to be law-abiding but when there are 19Bible-equivalents of regulations from just one alphabet department in a 5 year period of time, it becomes darn near impossible to navigate.

The Cloward-Piven Strategy

“First proposed in 1966 and named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, the Cloward-Piven Strategy seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.”

Wrong statistically, comparing a mixed basket of fruit (Bible) to a whole basket of lemons. How many of God’s words in the Bible are strictly law...then compare that to man’s laws. HA!

The Republican’s have to defund this monster known as the E.P.A. Before it wrecks our economy and impoverishes the populace.

Clean air and Water is something we all want but we don’t want it at the expense of a job and foods to consume or fuel to power our machinery and transport vehicles.

Cloward-Piven: correct.

The EPA is mentioned. What about everyone else: FDA, DOT, IRS, HHS, etc., etc., etc., until you get physically ill.

Well, he did tell us this was the course he would take prior to his first election. Paraphrased: you can build a coal plant, it will just go bankrupt...etc.

There is an old saying that I saw on a coffee cup many years ago:

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullsh!t. There really needs to be a new rule, that any new legislation must be explained in 10 pages or less.

The WHOLE IDEA about a bazillion pages of regs is that NOBODY will be able to understand the thing.

That way EVERYBODY is in violation—we are ALL GUILTY!

“The Republican’s have to defund this monster known as the E.P.A. Before it wrecks our economy and impoverishes the populace.”

The Republicans were given the power to defund the EPA in the election of 2010 when the American people elected a Republican majority to the House of Representatives. All federal appropriation bills must originate in the House. Since January 2011, when the Republican House majority swore to uphold the Constitution, they’ve had the power to defund every agency and program of the federal government. Since that time all the Republican House has done is fully fund every ambition of the President and the bureaucracy.

The people spoke, and their elected representatives failed to act as directed.

The blame for the current situation lies with those who have control of the money. Since the power of the purse lies with the Republican House, blame them, not those spending the money given to them by the House.

If you noticed,I placed the blame where it belongs with the Republicans. That doesn’t free them from the Responsibility to kill that monster and a lot of others that I didn’t mention.
