In TX, only those who voted in the election can vote in the runoff.
IOW, if I don't vote in the Republican election, I can't vote in the runoff. Forget crossing over!

Don't know what part of the city these precincts are in, but if they are majority Black, its a bad sign.
The fraud this go around will be massive. The dims aren’t running their own primary so they can be ‘used’ by the GOPe in theirs.
I will be surprised if the good guys pull this one off.
I just voted in Olive Branch, which is also in Desoto County. The poll workers told me turnout is up so far. I spoke to an older man who was waving a McDaniel sign outside. He said he had only seen one black voter all day.

Most “Tea Party” type people are from 45 to 80. Might be a good sign. Who knows? This’ll either be a nail-biter or a blow-out.
However, others have raised concerned about fraud in the absentee ballots.
Anyone who voted in the Democratic Primary is ineligible to vote in this primary, and there are records of those who voted in the Democratic Primary.
Namely, anyone who voted in the Democratic Primary is ineligible to vote in the Republican Primary Runoff (the election today). There are records of those voters.
If there are enough voters who were involved in this vote fraud, Chris McDaniel would have a case to bring before a judge.
Note that Democrats can vote today provided they either: (1) voted in the Republican Primary (the earlier vote that forced this Runoff election), or (2) did not vote in the Democratic Primary.
If McDaniel wants a recount who pays for it?
He needs one he may need our help.

Keep in mind the 18000 June number was for both both the Dem and Republican primary. You likely had a 70-30 split for the republicans then. with the 19100 number it likely a 85-15 split (there some local dems runoffs in some counties).
so it likely going from 12600-5400 to a 16235-2865 as the likley split of who voted in a republican or dem primary.

I would imagine if there is considerable vote fraud that can be proven, then the state of Mississippi would conduct it.
Of course, it would have to go to court, and somehow be settled before the general election...
If you have a county that votes 90% Democratic, and it suddenly has 500 votes in this election, then that might raise the flag that there is significant FRAUD in that county.
Thus, certain counties might be suspsect such as those that vote very heavily Democratic and do not vote Republican.
An example would be the county Jackson, MS, is in (which I believe is Jackson County, but not sure).
The votes of that county could be canvassed for those who voted in the Democratic Primary.
Then just that county could be 'audited' (somehow) and re-counted -- only counting the valid votes...
It just occurred to me... In TX the voter DB does record which primary you voted in yet i was asked a few questions in the runoff how I voted in the initial primary. If I had lied, after the vote I could have been prosecuted for vote fraud. Maybe MS will be contacting the rats who voted in the rat primary and again in the R runoff?
I just have to recommend to all of us novice politics watchers my favorite book for info on elections that are in states I’m not familiar with. Michael Barone, who grew up from something like the age of 8 reading almanacs and just loves politics, prints yearly his “Almanac of American Politics”. Pricey in the $50.00’s but oh so valuable.
Look it up on amazon and if you like — order for the 2014 election and you can get to know the other states. It’s a kick.
