So, what will the Republican “leaders” in the House do about it?

I have $10.00 that says “Absolutely nothing.”

The Mounting Proof of an IRS Cover-Up

In other news, water is wet.

This "proof of a cover-up" is getting tiresome. What happened is obvious.

What is going to be done about it is not at all obvious. Post something when you find out.

Lerner’s computer supposedly crashed in June 2011, an alleged event the IRS concealed from the American public and congressional investigators for two years. This event, which cannot be verified because her hard drive has since been destroyed and recycled,

It CAN be verified unless the IT work tickets were destroyed.

Oh, wait. Never mind.

There is some kind of weakness revealed in the system in that the only legal enforcement arm of the US government is in the executive branch. When that's the branch committing criminal acts, then it's a 'fox/henhouse' affair.

There should be some kind of enforcement possible separately for House, Senate, and Judiciary. It would take some thought how to properly arrange that, but it's foolish to have an obvious crime committed and no way to pursue it.

My friend is an Managing Director at a prestigious and well-known international firm. He was put on “trial” and had to fight for his job over his Prop. 8 support. If you don’t think we’re in a war, you’re naïve. They’ll stop at nothing.

A $50,000 fine from taxpayers to the plaintiff is an utter joke. It’s no accountability at all. Let Congress zero out the pay for the individuals who did this. Unless they get punished with jail time, this will just happen again. Like it always does with these types of scandals.

Civil Service and unionism just protect these guys. We need to shrink government and fast. This is, in fact, a golden opportunity. But will the GOPe Senate move to dissolve the IRS in 2017?

The IRS has agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to NOM. Unauthorized disclosure of confidential tax information is a felony that can lead to a five-year term of imprisonment, but Eric Holder’s Justice Department never got around to filing criminal charges in the case.

Doesn't Congress have the right to establish courts as needed? Since the Department of Justice has abdicated its obligation to enforce the law, perhaps Congress should create a Congressional Court and Congressional Prosecutor to take the place of the department of Justice.

Then maybe Eric H. Holder, Jr. might have his day in court for defiance of congressional subpena's and obstruction of justice?

The fact that we are not seeing anyone in the IRS coming forward with the truth; leads to the conclusion that the entire organization is corrupt. Email is ubiquitous: they are forwarded, they are replied to, They go back and forth in running communications, they are Courtesy Copied (CC). Make no mistake, even if Lois’s computer crashed, people in the IRS have these emails and are remaining silent.

Surpassed only by the knowledge that nothing will be done about it.

Just add the IRS scandal to the list of other Obama scandals that will prompt no action. The DOJ is corrupt to the core and the GOP leadership doesn’t have the cujones to do anything.

We definitely need an Alex Butterfield moment, but that would mean that someone in the democrat party knew and actually cared about the difference between truth and perjury.

The leftist Dems absolutely believe in man-made global warming, and they have complete confidence and trust in the IRS.
