To Impeach or Not to Impeach

It has been persuasively argued that President Obama is impeachable on many grounds. Having joked that he could do anything he wants, Obama is guilty of running roughshod over the Constitution, bypassing Congress and governing by executive decree, stuffing his administration with Muslim Brotherhood operatives, making common cause with America’s enemies and betraying its allies, promoting the global warming scam at enormous cost to the taxpayer, accepting illicit campaign donations, failing to defend U.S. soil against illegal border crossings (in direct contravention of Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution), being in contempt of federal court for his oil-drilling moratorium in the Gulf, allowing the IRS to target conservative nonprofits seeking tax-exempt status, approving via his attorney general Operation Fast and Furious, concocting the Benghazi cover-up, and constantly and illegally rewriting the rules of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, at least 29 times to date. A more comprehensive record of Obama’s ethical violations and misdemeanors lists 51 reasons for impeachment, some of which may be comparatively borderline, others flagrant.

Public opinion hasn’t seemed to affect Clinton’s impeachment by any means...I doubt Obama will be affected either. He’s already made his plans for rolling in the dough once he’s gone....liberal progressives could care less what their representatives do...it’s all about winning by any means until your done in office.

If there’s to be any affect on election day..it will be for what Obama has or has not done...not what he’s been charged or not with.

Gretchen Carlson just had a Tech expert on her Fox show who said that there are archives of those emails (Lerner, etc.).

I live in Texas. Even if we take the Senate, impeachment won’t affect me but I truly think it will create civil unrest in Blue state cities. I’m not so much for innocents getting hurt. I hope and pray we can wait out 3 more years.

What’s the worst he could do? Have even more gay marriages? He can’t get the guns. We’ll start shooting.

Reid may not be Leader when/if impeachment proceedings take place...if the GOP takes the Senate.

This is exactly why it is so crucial to win the Senate.

As a MINIMUM, each and EVERY candidate for office, particularly those in office now and hoping to be re-elected should be forced to answer the question, “Do you believe that Obama should be impeached in the House (would you vote for it?), and if successful, vote for his removal in the Senate.” Only Yes or No answers allowed.

<><><

LOL. When was the last time you hear any politician answer a simple yes/no question with a simple yes/no?

And how do you anticipate forcing them?

Start by impeaching the head of the IRS.....

Let the Dim's defend that.

That question should have been posed 12 months ago during and in the beginning phases of the election.

Looking at how focused the GOPe is on suppressing TEA candidates, as opposed to defeating the Left, I think the cake is baked. Add in the fact that a large percentage of the GOP base is beside itself about the situation and will probably stay home or become suicide voters and vote ‘Rat to take out the RINOs. I’m becoming less sanguine about the general by the day.

Several of the posted comments support my contention that a vote of “no confidence” might be an effective first step. Calls for resignation could also have an impact if taken up by the right voices.
Impeachment takes at least 2 years, assuming that the inevitable roadblocks would be hurdled. Meanwhile, damage is being done everywhere. The nation’s sovereignty and security are being undermined rapidly and daily.
A vote by Congress of “no confidence,” however, is short and sweet notice that the fraudster king is losing his mandate.
Even to have state legislatures, governors, mayors, anybody who holds authority, take up the call of “no confidence” in the fraudster/traitor/liar will increase the power of the call for his removal. It might well prevent some damage even if it has no observable direct effect.

Impeachment could be done in the house in two weeks, with a Senate trial two weeks after that.

The trouble with impeaching this bag ‘o crap is that he would become a martyr (St. Barry of the Perpetual Welfare Line) to the freeloaders and they would then demand that his mug be carved into Mt. Rushmore. Everyone who didn’t show up with a hammer and chisel would be “rebranded” as a “rasis”.

be PATIENT...... wait to see if repubs/T can take the SENATE... get rid of Mumbles Reid and then IMPEACH... MORE IMPORTANT WOULD BE TO HAVE A MAJ TO OVERRIDE ANY PREZ VETO.
START WITH OBUMBLERCARE - REPEAL
SECURE THE BORDERS
DEFEND THE CURRENCY BY REDUCING DEFICIT SPENDING AND BALANCED BUDGET
VA - ABOLISH AND TRANSFER BENEFITS TO A PRIVTE INSURANCE PLAN
Xl PIPE - APPROVE
IRS - ABOLISH CAPITAL GAINS AND SET PERSONAL INCOME TAX AT 10%
EPA - UNWRITE 25000 PAGES OF LIBTARTD PC UNICORN B.S.
ACCELERATE LNG TERMINAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION
DRILL BABY DRILL
ELIMINATE WELFARE AND DISABILITY ABUSE
.... then get down to serious stuff...

I guess it’s not so much what more can he do, it’s just another two and a half years of policy/executive action and inaction that could cause a collapse of our economy/markets/middle class/social programs.

Cloward-Piven. I read the definition and it fits to the tee what this bozo up there in D.C. is doing. Overwhelm the current system to facilitate a collapse in order to bring about a new system of governance.

Stock market is at all time highs, economy contracted by 3% along with stagnant wages/rising cost of living. 18-20 trillion debt, unfunded liabilities at somewhere around 60 trillion (GDP of the entire globe), adding hundreds of thousands of illegals to the system, looming war and or attack on our homeland.

Sounds like the wheels are falling off the wagon if you ask me. In another two years...we may well be shooting. Who knows, but I see storm clouds on the horizon.
