Handmade card with Jesus on it??????
Gotta Love that change.
I was at a school where a parent brought in cupcakes for her daughters birthday. It's a tradition in the elementary schools. A nutritionally enlightend teacher tried to prevent the distribution of cupcakes. The culturally enlightend teacher refused to comply. It got so heated a security guard had to separate them.
It was amazing.
Regressives: Laying waste to the last vestiges of pleasure wherever it can be found.
probably a good idea to ban cake and brownies in Colorado and Washington State, come to think of it.
probably pot-laced cupcakes
Homemade cookies and brownies will be confiscated from children's lunchboxes for their own good.
“Apparently, some teachers complained that there were simply too many birthdays during certain weeks and the extra sweets made kids rowdy.”
Well, actually, they don’t. There’s an article on WebMD that say’s it’s more likely the excitement of a birthday party that makes kids rowdy.
they could have one party a month for all the kids with b-days that month
We were not allowed to have parties in school except right before Christmas break. We were not allowed to bring Coke (aka soda) to school either. The only vending machines in the school were forbidden for students and/or in the staff rooms. I don’t know how we survived with so many rules, but they were rules made by our principals.
My daughter’s class had a special snack once a week provided by a student. The teacher usually timed it so that a student’s birthday coincided with their snack week. One week, there were several birthdays AND we were having a party for something. There were 48 cupcakes and banana splits. Those children were standing on the ceiling! They went outside to the playground afterward and played for the rest of the afternoon.
It will probably come with instructions on how to do the Pencil Test
When are the parents going to wake up and throw the bums out? When they can rule stupid on the stupid stuff, they rule stupid on the important stuff.
WOW a whole pencil, gee wiz thanks!! But wait, that pencil can be used as a weapon, to stab other students, then the left will be demanding pencil control
I think they made a law in Arizona requiring that when a parent brings a treat from home for the whole class, it must be a healthy snack. They give a list of things like bran muffins and Cheez-Its. I would bring nutritious iced cupcakes. Lol. I never had any issues sneaking them to classrooms. Oh and I didn’t sneak. Principals and teachers are happy happy happy when a parent cares enough to bring a treat for students.
Ok, ok, ok...let me see if I understand this correctly...The 1st lady’s only constitutional duty is to have sex with the pre_sent. Correct???
How on earth is she being allowed to dictate to any American what it is they will eat for lunch?
Nothing like inspiring kids to rebel against government at a young age!
My son’s school (private Catholic) only allows small, store bought, packaged items. It’s because kids’ birthdays have gotten out of control at school. Moms want to throw parties and it takes away from learning, which is why they’re there to begin with.
