The Fix: The Story of Thad Cochran's Victory, in 6 Maps
The Washington Post ^ | June 26, 2014 | Philip Bump

Coming into Tuesday's runoff election in Mississippi, polling suggested that incumbent Sen. Thad Cochran was at a major disadvantage. As we noted, there was a big question mark hanging over any predictions because it wasn't clear what turnout would look like.In part, that was because the Cochran campaign was explicitly targeting black voters to come out to vote, despite those voters usually voting Democratic.

Now, of course, we know what happened. Counties with a higher black population voted more heavily.

So...

Court the voters who WILL NOT vote for you in the main election... smart move Cochran.

Now you just assured the GOP loss of your seat, since you pissed off at least half your base, and the other people who voted for you int he primary are NOT going to in the main election...

Dumbass GOP

Check this out:

“For example, in the 2008 presidential primaries, exit polls say John McCain failed to win a single race among Republican voters, up to Super Tuesday, yet during that same period he went from also-ran to front runner, because most non-Republicans who crossed over voted for him.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_primaries_in_the_United_States

Open primaries are a vehicle of the GOPe. It kills any chance conservatives have with the republican party.

This is also how McCain pal, Lindsey graham wins the republican primary in South Carolina. South Carolina is an open primary state.

The ‘dead’ vote is meaningless EXCEPT as an idicator of fraud. When the ‘people who don’t show up to vote’ are voted - the ‘dead’ are voted with them.

Someone needs to check out the dead vote... in these precincts.

I live in Minnesota. The rotten dems and crooked judges have stolen the republican US Senate and our Governor.

I warned you. One guy replied that “we don’t operate like that in MS” BULL the rotten rats will steal all they can, even in MS.

Recounts: dems keep counting until they are in the lead, and then STOP counting. Some yahoo will find 100’s of ballots in his trunk and when the judge stands up and ballots fall out of his robe.

It all points out to what I have said before. These communists Democrats have spent so many years and volumes of hours on how to work the system. They were never really interested in America except wealth and power. Screw the tax paying people and hand out to the rest to secure voters.

So, it was 5,000 (possibly illegal, immoral, unethical or fattening) votes in ONE county (Hinds - heavily black, easily corrupted) in ONE area that mattered.

Now, how many precincts needed to be corrupted? Three? Four?

I have been saying that voting for a RINO is voting for the lesser of evil. And the lesser of evils is still evil. I have got lot of flack from Republicans who say if you don’t vote for the canidate the Democrat will get elected. Well, if Thad Cocharan won the way it looks like he won. He has moved from the lesser of evils to the same sort of evil political machinations that Progressives use.

And the Elections commissioner in that county is Cochran’s sister-in-law, if I’ve been told correctly...

This was all about taking the wind out of the TEA Party's sails. The GOPe was willing to sacrifice Cochran's senate seat if necessary to accomplish that mission.

FWIW, Cochran’s Democrat opponent in November has an A+ Rating from the NRA and he has been given an award from the National Pro Life Organization.

Since my two litmus tests on voting “for” a candidate are strong on life and strong on guns, I would have no problem whatsoever of voting against Thad Cochran and for his democrat opponent.

I am becoming more and more convinced that it will be easier to take over this country by moving the Democrat party to the right than trying to pull the GOPe back to the right.

By playing the race card and basically calling all Tea Party supporters racists, the GOPe has lost my support entirely.

Winning the Senate is not worth throwing your principles out the door. I cannot forgive the GOP establishment for what they did against McDaniel. I pray that Thad Cochran loses by 30 percentage points in November. It is not enough that he be defeated. He must be CRUSHED.

I would have to assume that a democrat who is currently running on his pro-second amendment and pro-life views and who has received commendations from pro-life groups and gun groups has got to have more courage and principles than most of the GOPe Senators who are currently surrendering on all fronts in Washington.

The crossover in the primary, plus the battered-voters who vote for the lesser evil. The two parties are going to swirl down the drain together. sort of. The elected ones get rich, cushy jobs, minions, etc. at the expense of the public.

The commies stated intention was to infiltrate both parties, and it appears they were successful.

not to mention the six opponents who decided to run against him and split that vote even further... which of those “Patriots” were paid to do just that?

This Washington Compost story and graphs should be Exhibit “A” in McDaniel’s lawsuit. It is very persuasive that ineligible voters more than made the difference.

Desoto County had an increase in voters primary to the runoff and McDaniel’s percentage climbed from 62.9% to 69+%. McDaniel carried all 39 precincts.

He should be insulted. These people voted for him thinking he would be the easier candidate to defeat in November.
