PThe second page of the passport can be filled with regional language. Citizens are entitled to the second page of the passport not completed in Russian or in Ukrainian passport there can be no Russian language.
As stated in the story zik.ua, few know that the Ukrainian may require that the second page of the passport filled with the language of national minorities or regional. The failure of Ukrainian have the right to go to court.
It is scandalous in law language "Kivalova-Kolisnichenko" says that Ukraine passport or document that replaces, and information about its owner, made to him in the State language and there, at the option of one of the regional languages or national minorities of Ukraine.

It has taken the Marxists and their pals over 100 years of hard work to overrun this nation and its institutions. To think that they would give it all up because of an election or two is naive to the max. They will only go down in pools of blood, ours or theirs.
THis is what is fueling, in part, the revolutions in Donetsk and Luhansk. More Ukrainians use Russian in their homes than use Ukrainian. But the official policy of the Ukraine is to impose Ukrainian-only on the people.
Oddly, only a third describe Russian as their primary language, but this is because to use Russian is to be deemed a Soviet wanna-be, so they fill out in surveys that Ukrainian is their primary language, even if they fill out in other surveys that they are more fluent in Russian.
Only 5% of media sources are in Russian. No colleges or universities conduct general-ed classes in Russian. Russian speakers face severe discrimination in employment even in Russian-dominated regions. And yet Ukranians are furious that they have to look at one page of Russian text in their passport?
No. The BIG issue is that Russian Federation wants to issue passports for Ukraine, Bosnia..others [I read this morning but forgot all] Putin trying regional government control, ie remember how Crimean citizens persecuted few months back because REFUSED Russian citizenship?
That’s not what is being protested here. They just want to completely obliterate all traces of Russian culture in their program of Ukrainization.
You may be somewhat mixing issues:
Crimeans did want to have Russian passports. 96% voted for it in an 1996 election that was certified by Kiev. Kiev responded by suspending their parliament, firing their president/governor and implementing autocratic control from Kiev. (Did you know that those sick monsters that you love did that? There’s a reason Crimeans hate Kiev, and desperately wanted to leave.) Russia was in favor of offering them the passports.
Further, Russia would like to expand its Customs Union to include the Ukraine. This isn’t quite the same as issuing “Russian” passports to the Ukraine, but it would result in a uniform passport.
No, that is NOT what is being said. I have gathered more info to broaden understanding of the situation:
1. Citizens that do NOT want Russian on passports, do not have to have their info written in Russian on 2nd page. Those that prefer may.
2. Many youtube videos as well as articles have been presented on Free Republic stating Russian born citizens are NOT discriminated or prevented from speaking Russian.

Please, can you see WHY UKRAINE doesn’t want Russian Federation “ACTIN ON BEHALF” of Ukraine & issuing Russian passports for UKRAINE CITIZENS???
