Meet The Seven IRS Employees Whose Computers ‘Crashed’
Daily Caller ^ | June 26, 2014 | Patrick Howley

Posted on 06/26/2014 9:28:11 AM PDT by maggief

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is currently claiming that seven different IRS officials experienced computer crashes that erased their emails and made it impossible for the IRS to cooperate with congressional investigations into the IRS targeting matter.

The wave of computer crashes apparently struck both Washington, D.C. — where Lois Lerner oversaw the agency’s Exempt Organizations division — and also Cincinnati, Ohio — where agents processed tax-exempt applications.

The Federal Records Act requires IRS employees to save all of their emails pertaining to agency business and to also print those emails out in case they have a computer crash.

Call them all in, separate them, tell them the penalty they could get, and then grant immunity from prosecution to the one who sings.

That’s what they should do, but being that we have a major RINO infection in the Republican party I doubt they will do anything more than posture until interest in it fades away just like they did the 10 billion other scandals under this administration of treason. I mean just think of all the crap that has gone on since 2009, I can’t think of one single solitary thing that has happened other than a few resignations which is like going on paid vacation when it comes to this government.

The Federal Records Act requires IRS employees to save all of their emails pertaining to agency business and to also print those emails out in case they have a computer crash.

Well technically, harassing the political enemies of Obama is not part of official agency business, therefore they didn't have to save or print emails about doing it.

Even Kafka would be throwing away this part after he wrote it thinking he needed to tone down the craziness a bit.

Better fess up worms you will go to prison or even be hung..

Place them in general population with Bubba and Bertha, let them play house, let them cry for their momies then make deal.

I thought about taking them up in a helicopter and asking them what happened. When no one answers, take one and toss him out the hatch. Then ask the same question.

Unfortunately, I recall a story where that happened and when the interrogator asked whom was the VC major, the others pointed to the hatch!

Isn’t destroying evidence considered a crime itself? What about the requirement for keeping copies of all emails and electronic transactions? If the IRS were a private business, the feds would be all over them for the same offenses. But I guess fed bureaucrats get a free pass, and executive branch protection to boot.

There are too many people involved in this conspiracy to keep a lid on it. Squeeze them and somebody will talk.

I still vote for going after the administrative staff. Offer immunity to Lois Lerner’s executive assistant.

Call each of them into a hearing room at the same time, hold up a golden ticket and ask who wants it.. Then drop the hammer on Lerner. After she’s in custody, bring them in again and hold up the ticket again and ask who wants it.
