I bought a fancy Chinese watch for $7.00 a few months ago. I actually liked it so much I bought two more for my Grandchildren.
There was a notice that it was not associated with “Polo”. I had not even noticed any similarity but after looking at the box, it did show a guy playing polo.

“Clinton spoke at a Denver meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative on Wednesday, where the moderator asked him about a visit he paid in April to a Detroit-area watchmaker selling ritzy Swiss watches for $550 a pop.”
If Clinton buys “ritzy” $550 Swiss watches just proves he really is from Arkansas. I can actually believe this, it fits, once a poser always a poser. Just like our current POTUS.
Flame away Arkansans.....

Who knows why. He might be able to sell those watches for a pretty profit to people who would want “a watch worn by Bill Clinton.”

Redneck luxury would be a $25 walmart watch.

I bought a Swiss (Elgin) pocket watch in 1965 for $38. You could unscrew the back and adjust the fast/slow mechanism fairly easily. I eventually got it to where it gained about two seconds a day.
About once a month I would correct it. It still works fine.

Swiss watches for $550 a pop The really expensive watches start around $70K.
I get the print issue of Forbes magazine and it's loaded with ads for watches, the only ad I've ever seen that listed a price was $70K and up.
I guess the advertisers think, if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.

You’d have to be a moron or Progressive to donate anything to the “Clinton Global Initiative” ... it’s nothing but a slush fund for Slick Willy and family.

I am not quite sure who Tom Arnold was talking about when he said, ''We're America's worst nightmare: white trash with money!'', himself and Roseanne or the Clintons.
