A former White House counsel during the Clinton administration said Thursday that its time for an independent counsel to look into the growing IRS email scandal.
Lanny Davis, a close adviser to Hillary Clinton and a frequent defender of the Obama Administration, appeared on my morning talk show in Washington, D.C., on WMAL. I asked him to comment on the latest hearings on the lost IRS emails conducted earlier this week in Congress:
If this were a Republican administration Id be saying when hard drives have been obliterated and this recent Lois LernerI think very inappropriate, maybe innocent but completely inappropriatemaybe we should look at Mr. Grassley uh
theres no Democrat that I know of that wouldnt be asking a Republican administration to conduct an independent investigation.

I asked Davis if he meant a special prosecutor should be appointed and he argued that a special counsel reporting to the attorney general would be sufficient. Yes, there ought to be another look at this by somebody that President Obama chooses to appoint whos independent, Davis explained, or at least the Republicans would see as independent.Even a democrat like Lanny Davis knows a 'ringer' is going to backfire.
Americans are noticing the criminality of the Democrat Party - and that's NOT going to be easy to switch back. Democrats can't risk an openly biased Special Prosecutor. They're corrupt not stupid.

Bump to that link.
The sleeper case that could bust open the IRS scandals - Thomas Lifson, June 27, 2014
Z-Street's lawsuit alleges unlawful viewpoint discrimination, a First Amendment claim. The IRS tried several arguments to dismiss Z-Street's lawsuit, all of which were dismissed by Washington, DC federal district court Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, an Obama appointee. She noted that Z-Street was not suing to gain tax exempt status, but rather over the viewpoint discrimination ... What makes the Z-Street case unique and potentially extremely damaging is that its lawsuit was filed in August 2010. That filing placed the IRS under legal obligation to preserve records.

Ask the conservatives in Mississippi about what the Republicans view as independent.

Of course it is. But, if the effect is to annoy Obama a bit from his other flank, what’s not to like?

IMO this Clinton camp is just distancing themselves from sloppy and clumsy tactics of Obama. Clintons like to triangulate and appear smarter than everyone else. So they are selectively honest when it can benefit them. Remember it is not about the dem party to them - it is always about them and them only with the dem party supporting and pointing to them.
With change from Obama to Hillary the fuhrership changes hands and Lanny is ramping up for the new Fuhrer.

The filthiest Republican is clean next to the average corrupt liar that IS what Democrats have become. Paid liars and shills... we have to remember what we’re up against.

From 1996 to 1998, he served as a special counsel to President Bill Clinton, and was a spokesperson for the President and the White House on matters concerning campaign-finance investigations and other legal issues. In 2005, President George W. Bush appointed Davis to serve on the five-member Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board, created by the U.S. Congress as part of the 2005 Intelligence Reform Act. Wikipedia Lanny Davis does NOT work for the Obama Administration. He's a democrat but he's not one of the filthy lowlife liars that seems to be all that's left of 'democrats'...

eligibility ping to a long predicted key moment when a crucial Clinton insider comes out to declare that the 18.5 second..er...missing IRS email is a genuine potential smoking gun pointing directly back at the White House and the Hillary’s 2016 election is now viewed by the Clinton camp to be in jeopardy by Barry’s continued occuapancy in the White House.
Shall FReepers now take bets on which day in 2014 President Biden will be sworn in..after Barry suddenly discovers that a medical condition now requires that he “spend more time with his family”?
