McAllen, Texas Piles of diapers, boxes of donated clothes, and rows of cots fill the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in this small city near the Mexican border. The scene here looks like a humanitarian relief effort following a natural disaster. But its a different kind of crisis that has city workers and volunteers rushing to respond.
The church is now receiving between 80 - 200 people per day, while a second location is receiving another 70 people daily, according to Brenda Nettles Riojas, a spokesperson for the Catholic Diocese of Brownsville.
Many of those immigrants -- federal authorities wont give exact numbers -- aren't deported immediately. Instead, theyre processed in detention centers, assigned court dates, and then released to travel throughout the United States to join family members to await immigration proceedings.
The steady influx of immigrants has turned bus terminals in places such as McAllen into transit hubs for Central American mothers and children heading northward to reunite with relatives scattered across the country.

Our border control is a disgrace, and has been for decades.
Invited in, and escorted, by DH”S”.
Must have been more important than securing the borders
against invasion, infection and terrorism.
How difficult is it to walk these invaders to the border when they’re right there ?
Does Catholic Charities have a contract ?
They usually do before they get involved.
.... Considering all of our resources are being overwhelmed in the US handling illegal trespassers invited into this country by Obama, I wonder what would happen at this point if a REAL disaster hit the US?
What struck me is that every one of the illegals is chubby and looks well nourished. The kids look happy. No one looks traumatized. Piles and piles of clothing, diapers, wipes and food. Tables upon tables of medical supplies like syringes. How much of that came from the local organizations to help Americans in poverty? Is this where the food/clothing drive donations of citizens are going?
One woman paid $3500/per person??? She had anywhere from $7k US to??? to spend to get here? That is not the definition of impoverished.
Guess the RCC is finally getting enough “undocumented immigrants” into the country. They must be pleased as punch. They can get more taxpayer cash to keep their “charities” going. (When did we take a vote on that?)
These churches need to be held accountable too. Tired of hearing and seeing them ignore laws.
Blackshirts, too. Someone needs to post that graphic of Obamussolini.
There should be free bus tickets to NYC.
