The flip side of it is that fuel prices are likely to escalate dramatically here in the U.S. over time as our government functions in a condition that can best be described as insolvent. As the U.S. dollar declines in value against other currencies, we'll end up in a position where it becomes increasingly difficult for us to afford to buy our own resources here in the U.S.
And that, folks, is basically the definition of a Third World country.
