Exactly. The GOP willl say they can fix it better than the Democrats. And paint the Tea Party candidates as racist, no-solution, extremists for wanting to repeal.

They’ll start the “they don’t offer any (statist) solutions” mantra soon, even as the Tea Partiers clearly state their (market-driven) solutions.

Free markets and invisible hands are no longer viable political solutions in GOP America - you must have Central Planning.

I am having SO much fun telling the liberals that I told them so.

Unfortunately, one of them is so enamored with $8/month birth control that she doesn’t care about people dying.

Ted Kennedy (who has been sober for quite some time now) said years ago that the plan was to screw up the US health care system so badly that eventually people would demand single payer.

One thing I don’t see discussed much is what happens to enrollees when the next recession hits. The insurance companies will be bailed out, but I can foresee a living hell for many that live paycheck to paycheck. In theory they are suppose to notify the exchange and have their subsidy adjusted upward. But even then, it isn’t likely they would be able to come up with their share of the payment out of pocket. So that would mean either letting the exchange insurance expire or taking on debt to make the payment until cash flow can be adjusted.

I had a boss many, many years ago who told us whenever someone said I think, or I thought to let the horses think, because they have larger heads.

I suggest you do that instead of speculating!!!

“Personally, I think everyone knew this thing was going to be a complete disaster but they also knew the system that existed before ObamaCare had the same fatal flaws.”

Actually and this should be in Ripley’s Believe it or Not, there are still some who think it is actually working. You might be surprised to find out who some of those living in this absurd fantasy are. People who absolutely should know better. Talking to one of them is like meeting someone who will swear that the Sun rises over the Pacific beyond California and sets in the Atlantic out past Charleston, SC. It is astounding how out of touch with reality some people can be and sometimes they are people who have high IQ scores, degrees and even successful careers. I once met a man who had moved from the liberal Northeast to Myrtle Beach and opened a printing business so that he could play golf every day. He didn’t take the trouble to learn that as a resident it cost him more to play than had he been coming in on a vacation trip from his old home. This man told me in 1990 that he would “never worry about a hurricane again.” He said that he had heard all these things about how awful a hurricane could be and then Hugo came along and “it was nothing.” I was so startled by the absurdity of his comment that I blurted out, “That is because Hugo didn’t hit Myrtle Beach.” Actually there was a little breeze from the outer edges in Myrtle Beach but the eye of the storm came in at McClellansville just north of Charleston. He then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and Hugo did hit Myrtle Beach. It was an astounding experience to be confronted with such utter stupidity from someone you would have thought to be an intelligent person. Almost like having someone tell you that water is NOT wet and fire does NOT burn! I still do not understand how someone could run a business in Myrtle Beach and be exposed to news reports of all the amazing damage wreaked by Hugo including people clinging to the roof rafters in a church building all night to avoid being drowned in the rising water and be idiot enough to say that it hit Myrtle Beach and it was nothing. People like that will still say that Obamacare is great when they are told that it will be eight years before they can see a doctor.
