Man oh man, best stay at home. That’s my recommendation.
At least it wasn’t a Stop the violence rally; the body count would have been higher.
:-)
I read the news every day.
You have a good point.
It’s a local story — no reason why anyone would expect it to be national (let alone international) news.

As a young Airman stationed in Shreveport during the mid 80s, my friends and I attended a lot of rock and metal concerts at the Hersh Colliseum.
They were general admission so it was hot, crowded and loud. Nobody tried to hurt anyone else. If we saw a kid or small person having problems we’d pick them up higher so they could get fresh air. The security passed out cones filled with crushed ice. People would take some and pass it back and ask for extra if someone behind them had problems.
One Saturday morning I read the paper over lunch in the Chow Hall. They reported several stabbings and a fatal shooting at a rap concert in the same Auditorium.
There’s quite a contrast to the cultures.
Yup
I’ve been to many many concerts in my youth and the most violence I’ve seen was violent projectile vomiting.
BUT you could not pay me to go see one of these newer acts.
No thanks.
Frigging animals....
Ive been to many many concerts in my youth and the most violence Ive seen was violent projectile vomiting.
The biggest issue I had was the offers from fellow audience members to “share their stash.” Had to turn it down, being on active duty.
But was it happy fire?
YOU EVIL WHITE MAN!! (just kidding) and just guessing you might be Caucasian.
keeping it real
There are two groups that feel that the first response to any slight should be anger and violence. Both are cherished victim groups, and are protected from taking responsibility for their actions.
