The recent spike in gas prices will make the July 4 holiday weekend the most expensive for drivers since 2008.

The continuing fears over the political unrest in Iraq have seen crude oil prices rising, causing an unseasonably early summer run-up on retail gas prices, the paper reports.

Prices started to rise here but then fell. I filled up at $3.41 yesterday. It was nearly twenty cents more a week ago. Not that $3.41 is cheap by any means.

Blame the Commie pink fag which occupies the WH and his Fed Reserve brethren. The US demand for oil is down. This is another ‘Rat manipulated market.

One time when I was home the local Indian reservation was selling gas for $1.47 (up the road at a Shell station it was a penny more) and Washington has the highest gas tax in the nation.

This can actually be good for local economies. Spending less on gas, less time in the car, and more time enjoying things closer to home helps the economy. It helps neighborhoods.
