“This must be true. I cant ever drinking water when I was in Vegas.”
In Las Vegas the water comes form Kentucky or Scotland.
Sorry, I should have included the /s to my comment.
I agree that Las Vegas isn’t terribly necessary. If they can’t pay for a solution, moving and letting the city dry up might be the best solution. They can all move to Detroit, where there is water, is sitting next to a lake, but oddly enough, the current residents can’t afford water either.
Was that picture taken today?
It sure did dry up fast.
No, its from the movie Resident Evil: Extinction
Darn! I thought maybe I could go out there and dig for gold under those ruins. Of course I would have to bring all the cokes I could drink.
“Build a couple of desalization plants as the Israelis have and pump the water via pipeline to Nevada.”
If you do that and plant trees , the trees will suck up all the CO2 which would stop global warming.
They could form a bucket brigade!
Hey, Reid sold the water to the Chinese.
Popular Science has an article about a new water intake being installed in Lake Mead.
.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer city.
There isn’t enough water for the one they’ve got. LOL
I flew into Phoenix on business back in the nineties, and my immediate impression was that this city and this airport and these people did not belong here. Not sayin’ ... just sayin’
Steal water from California then. lol
We (California) are spending all our Money on Bullet Trains, instead of your sensible idea.
CA doesn’t have any extra water, either.
Millions of extra people are all full of water!
er... never mind
Anyone notice how much attention is currently being paid to the level of water in Lake Superior? Its been in the news a lot lately.
There was research done a few years back on building a pipeline from “Superior” to Colorado so it would NOT surprise me if the powers to be started rehashing that same idea now due to “global warming” and the need for water in the west. I would bet the farm that would be one “pipeline project” odumbo would support.
