Immigration Activists from the pro-amnesty group United We Dream held a rally inside the office buildings of the U.S House of representatives, Friday, to accuse Republican lawmakers of “harsh anti-immigrant rhetoric” - and to tell MRCTV that Congress can act now to pass amnesty because the U.S. border is already secure.

Remember the Peace Corps?? Founded in 1961 that Federally funded program now costs taxpayers $350 million a year.

Volunteers and paid federal employees (with a union and benefits) have apparently been impotent in those countries from which thousands of illegals flee for the US.

Is it time (50+ years) to accept that the program has been a failure in all of the places we have spent labor, effort and money???? None of the people we supposedly ‘helped’ appear to have risen politically or materially to a level of improving their own nations’ governance or to have embraced the ‘friendship’ of the USA.

To control our southern borders and stop the thousands of children from Latin America from sneaking into the United States, we need at least two new amendments to the Constitution, something like this:

1. "School attendance: Only citizens, legal residents, those with special student visas can attend elementary, high school, and colleges in the United States."

2. "One parent must be a citizen before a newborn child is given automatic citizenship."

3. Felony: We must finally declare that crossing the border illegally is a felony.

Illegal parents come to the United States for the wonderful benefits that their children can receive, like a quality education and great health care. Can you blame them for making the dangerous, long trip with their young children, or sending their children by themselves with the hope that the United States will automatically let them stay?

I don't understand how a child can illegally cross the southern border one day and automatically be eligible to enroll in public school the next day. That is wrong.

"Obviously, the border is secure," one of the protesters' organizer declared, arguing that illegal aliens are already being captured as soon as they enter the U.S.

This is your brain on drugs:

Captain Smith on the Titanic: “obviously we’re not taking on water.”
Same type of statement.

Any immigration “reform” passed this year will have a provision saying the President must certify the border is secure before there is amnesty. Which he will, no matter what the reality is.

That is why we cannot trust the GOPE

“Volunteers” should be in scare quotes

“•Deport illegal aliens on contact with LE, federal/state/local
•Enforce the law vigorously on employers of illegals and with severe penalties
•Strong border security. Build the fence
•Eliminate entitlements for illegal aliens, e.g. no tuition assistance or DL. Nothing beyond emergency care, followed by deportation
•End the “anchor baby” policy
•Illegal entry forfeits forever any chance for citizenship
•Illegal aliens interfering with government proceedings will be shot as spies”

Yeah, right. One day thousands upon thousands of dirt poor South American children and toddlers just up and withdraw thousands of dollars from the family bank account, and tell the parents, 'Going to the U.S.A. See ya'- and they hop the train all the way into Texas.

The Marxist/Muslim is responsible for this...his Cloward-Piven scheme (a malevolent strategy of overloading and destroying our economy and our system of government) is all going as planned.

Texas has the resources and the forces to secure our border. Grow a pair, Perry. The Feds won't do a thing and you know it. It's YOUR job to stop the invasion of Texas.

Texas Governor Perry has the authority to call forth the state military forces and the reserve militia to repel the invasion.

Tex. Gov. Code Sec. 431.071 http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/GV/htm/GV.431.htm#431.071

Tex. Gov. Code Sec. 431.001 http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/GV/htm/GV.431.htm#431.001

Tex. Const. art. 4, § 7 http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/CN/htm/CN.4.htm#4.7

U.S. Const. art. IV, § 4 mandates the Federal government protect states against Invasion. The Federal government has not performed, States have legal recourse.

The law supports the states. The federal government is violating law.

Where are our so called 'firebrand' Conservative leaders??

Cruz? Abbot? Gohmert?

Bueller?

ANYBODY?

Travis, Houston, the heroes of the Alamo and the Texas revolution fought and died for Texas.

My deepest apologies to them. It appears their sacrifices were all for nothing.

Today's whimpy Texans and their leaders do nothing while Texas is invaded by illegal aliens- and most likely Muslim terrorists. (and even shot at across the border)

Fellow Texans, keep burning up the faxes, emails and phones at the governor’s office and the offices of your representatives!

DEMAND they do about the massive invasion of illegal aliens into Texas, bringing crime, disease, drugs and destruction to our economy.

This is sheer insanity!
