If you read conservative outlets like RedState or Breitbart or even if you just get Chris McDaniels email alerts youre aware of allegations of vote buying in Mississippi.
If the allegations are true, its reprehensible. But the problem is that theyre coming from a less than reputable source.
The African-American pastor alleging that he was offered money to buy votes for Thad Cochran was also paid by the reporter for the story. This is both ironic and problematic: If youre the kind of person who is willing to participate in a vote-buying scheme, isnt it possible youd also be the kind of person who is willing to make up a wild story in order to get paid by a reporter?
Another interesting wrinkle is that the person making the allegation claims he received the walking around money to distribute to African-American voters but never got paid the money he was promised for his services (note: Always get paid up front!).
Of course, even if this pastor is telling the truth, the hard part will be proving that a). the people ordering the vote buying were actually from the Cochran campaign, and b). that the number of votes bought would account for the difference in the election. (Lets assume that a consultant took it upon himself to order this scheme. He might certainly find himself in legal hot water, but would that impact Cochrans victory?)
As such, they will either shock the political world by proving massive voter fraud or ensure that any political future McDaniel might have hoped to salvage is over.
Im betting on the latter, but in politics, anything can happen.

Yeah I find the silence on this one befuddling. Not that I expect the idiot Feds to do much, but I expected more at the State level.
What for? Do you think that the communists empire in America will investigate. And even if they did nothing changes except more State will pad the vote. America if finished and the American people are more to blame than either party.
Yes, the Daily Caller is gradually becoming corrupted. If it has to choose between the interests of the GOPe and those of its conservative base, it will side with the GOPe EVERY time.
So, in the case of Mississippi, the Daily Caller is essentially calling on McDaniel to ignore the corruption and fraud and simply “gracefully” bend over and grab his ankles.
NO CONSERVATIVE should ever again bend over and grab his/her ankles at the direction of the GOPe.
NEVER AGAIN! REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI
The Daily Caller is a total joke...as is Tucker Carlson
These people are a joke. It is becoming more and more obvious that this story has legs, their denial seems to indicate they did pay people
Who owns the Daily Caller anyways?
I’m not sure who all the owners are, but Tucker Carlson founded it.
