I was indeed replying to the vote buying scandal. I was making fun of the fact that the GOPe is using the same excuses as Obama.
Oh, oh... I missed the sarcasm point. Sometimes doesn’t always translate well on here (and we’ve had some trolls denying there is any scandal in MS with a straight face).

niiiiiiiiice. Only thing missing from that thread is more kitties. Even my silly liberal friends love it when I send them pictures of viking kitties from good ZOT threads. For some reason, it gives them a tiny, tiny, tiny piece of respect and affection for us. As if ... they kind of wish they could have fun, too, instead of being morbid about the warming world all the time - the plight of all the people you and I are bigoted against and hating into poverty .... and the consistent aggravation and cognitive dissonance involved in maintaining, while asleep or while awake, that ... “A” somehow does not equal “A” :-)
They are no better than the lying, liberal, democrat, lefty, socialist's...we've been fighting for years.
Of course, I thought they enjoy liberally employing their own versions of shutting people up or expelling them from their own little websites. I was on a discussion website that was about tv shows and I said something un-PC (I despise PC, it is an invention that came straight from Stalin himself) and they booted me off the board without a moment’s notice. These folks are a cancer.
Yeah - the difference is, you get booted off their sites for calmly either stating a fact, or arguing rationally and calmly for a position.
If a liberal came on this site, with a cogent argument backed up with facts of numbers and history ... it would be welcomed with amazement and splendor. I’m not sure such a thing exists? The only ‘happy thriving government centered’ civilizations are those during the brief slices of time when a rich, well earned culture of enlightenment and bounty is drifting off to sleep. Left asleep, the nightmares have already begun to increase.
I think the slumber commenced the moment Ben said “A Republic, if you can keep it.”
