Academia and most of the so-called “news” media are dyed in the wool Pinkos.
They’re happy to fund PIAPS.
And probably quite pleased that it doesn’t personally cost them single penny.

At $250,000, why don’t they give 25 students 10 grand to lower their tuition.

Are these universities claiming austerity? If they aren’t cutting back on things claiming poverty then I don’t see a problem. Big name speakers get big name fees, it’s just how it works, and like her or not HC is a big name. A lot of times these fees grow in a bidding war, two place want the same speaker at the same time and the offers start rolling in, it’s the free market. Which she despises, which makes the whole thing kind of ironic, but not necessarily bad.

So how is this not a political donation?

A backdoor way of giving money to Dem coffers, not covered by campaign funding laws.

So your kid can’t afford college because they raised the tuition to pay for Hillary’s speech. What difference does it make?

Note, these are not campaign funds which will be additional largess culled from academia when she announces her candidacy. Since she has not announced, these schools give her the cash directly so they cannot be accused of funding a campaign which the Clintons would NEVER do anyway from personal funds. Two grifters who showed the way for the incompetent in office so he can load up when he leaves office, hopefully.

paid $251,250?
Interesting number there. One would expect a round number say 250K or 225K or some such. The odd $1250 sounds like the cost of going and staying for the night on top of the standard fee.
What a goniff.

All of these schools are awash in government money. This is simply a conduit by which are tax dollars can be legally funneled to Team Clinton.
These grifters have been gaming the system for forty years.

Universities are taking the chance that Hillary will be president, and they will get that money back ten fold. Otherwise, from an educational perspective, Hillary isn’t worth the electric bill.
