Qys and Yemen never interbreeded. The southern Yemenites believed they were the only true Arabs, descendants of one of Eber’s children, the Qys having come from a johny-come-lately descendant of Ishmael. So on the Arabian peninsula, there were never-ending feuds between the Qys and Yemen tribes, and no intermarriage at all. This bizarre feud spread along with Islam. Even Islamicized medieval Spain had never-ending feuds between native Spaniards because they, too, identified themselves as either Qys or Yemen. Mohammed, I believe, was a Qys. The entire age-old feud has subsided with the rise of Jew hatred, but even there it persists in altered form, as between Hamas and Fatah.

Monotheistic Arabs are decendents of Ishmael.

God made a covenent with Abraham and said his decendents would be numerous, and rulers of a great nation.

Abrahams wife Sarah didn’t trust that promise because they were both old. Sarah hooked up Abraham with the slave Hagar. Abraham had a son named Ishmael.

When Sarah did get pregnant and gave birth to Isaac, she wanted Hagar and Ishmael out. They have been fighting ever since.

Muslims to this day have a master-slave relationship with God.

Jews have a father-child relationship with God, and Christians inherited the covenant from the Jews.

That said I was just in Abu Dhabi and feel that educated Muslims have a lot of respect for God. They are modest, they are wealthy and ridiculously charitable with their own. Every native gets a mansion, not kidding.

That said, they may have double lives, but they respect their God. The region is filled with all kinds of crazy wierd idol worshipping religions such as in Asia and India -gross.

Even the some of the women in burkas were modestly beautiful. God has certainly blessed those countries abundantly. He loves us all.

Ishmael was from the beginning. He was Abraham’s first son.

Genesis 16:7-16 describes the naming of Ishmael, and Yahweh’s promise to Hagar concerning Ishmael and his descendants. This occurred at the well of Beer-lahai-roi, located in the desert region between Abraham’s settlement and Shur. Hagar fled here after Sarai dealt harshly with her for showing contempt for her mistress following her having become pregnant. Here, Hagar encountered an angel of Yahweh who instructed her to return and be submissive to Sarai so that she could have her child there. The blessing that this child’s father was promised was that Abraham’s descendants would be as numerous as the dust of the earth. However, the promise would be to a son of Sarai; yet God would make of this child a great nation, who would be named Ishmael, because he was of the seed of Abraham. When Ishmael was born, Abraham was 86 years old.
