Obama Seeks an Escape From the Middle East

In his first term, Barack Obama all but declared victory in America's Middle East struggles.

As he precipitously pulled out all U.S. peacekeepers from Iraq, the president had his own "Mission Accomplished" moment when declaring the country "stable," "self-reliant" and an "extraordinary achievement."

Those claims echoed Vice President Joe Biden's earlier boast that Iraq somehow would prove Obama's "greatest achievement."

After the death of Osama bin Laden, and during Obama's re-election campaign, the president also proclaimed that al-Qaeda was a spent force and "on the run."

But what exactly was the new Obama strategy that supposedly had all but achieved a victory in the larger war on terror amid Middle East hostility?

I like VDH’s work. But the prime factor in Hussein that he is in fact a muslim. Whether it is a desire to be “fair” or just the conservative bent to civility, the pretense must stop.

No one says it except online here and elsewhere, Hussein is muslim, therefor he will always act in whatever he perceives to be the muslim greater good.

He is not ignorant that the muslim model of the greatest good is destruction of the US, Israel, and the West in general.

Once you grasp that, Hussein’s policies at least make sense.

VDH is a savvy guy...so I pose a few Q’s:

Does VDH (he) believe he is a muzzie?
Does he believe 0bummer’s definition of victory may include leave our troops there to be killed? (remember Seal Team 6 were left to die)

With these questions, exit strategy may not be compatible unless exit strategy includes allowing caliphate to exist as a “victory”.

Petulant children do exactly as the last part of that sentence says. Cover their ears, shut their eyes and continually scream for someone to take it away. His appearances on Monday and Tuesday are prime examples but since he is now the most powerful man in the world, his man-boy hands are not big enough to cover his ears and his lackeys make sure there is nothing he has to see that may be unpleasant while he rant about everything that is wrong with everyone else.

That is always his very first instinct: immediately find someone or something to blame. Never take responsibility for anything that goes wrong and deflect criticism elsewhere. Then make a short speech and walk away from the problem.
