Video – Texas cheerleader ‘hunted’ by social media protesters over photos hunting expedition

For a young Texas cheerleader who may be used to the supportive roars of the crowd, the 19-year-old hunter is now being subjected to a different roaring and it is all on social media. It seems that Kendall Jones, who attends Texas Tech University, has become the hunted instead of the hunter due to her posting of dead animals she killed in Africa and is pictured with on Facebook, according to Fox News.

It seems that animal protection police have decided to unleash their political correctness ammunition on her which has resulted in thousands of social media protests over her photos of animals she posed with. As protests over her alleged actions of posing with all dead animals, she responded by saying, that some of the animals she posed with were actually tranquilized not shot. She also mentioned that on all of her hunts she was involved were “fair chase” hunts.

Since liberals and PETA-type fanatics like to shoot first and never ask questions later, they missed the point of her animal postings and of her intentions while she was in Africa. She stressed, “While all of the ANTI Hunters were hiding behind a computer writing repulsive comments and issuing death threats to me, well I was out doing a White Rhino Green Hunt,” reported Fox News.

One of the benefits of her African trip she claims was being able to assist in helping a wounded white rhino that she darted. The animal’s leg wound was medicated and it also received shots of antibiotics. Yet, the animal lovers instead decided to target her and posted the tens of thousands of calls for Facebook to remove her animal photos.

Jones is not deterred or seemingly bothered by it. She position is clear, she stated, that she was, “doing my part

Lots of folks here on FR that don't understand how these hunts actually help preserve species.

I’m sure she has vastly more supporters than detractors, but the critics are the ones with the big mouths.

She position is clear, she stated, that she was, “doing my part in conservation to make a difference,” according to Fox.

Pretty girl, and kudos to her.

I know. We used to get the same stupidity with Deer hunting.

They consider themselves envitonmentalist but have absolutely no idea how nature works.

The old fashioned solution to avoid all this social media blowback is DON’T POST IT!!

Had a successful hunt? Wonderful! Take lots of pictures but share them only with those you know & trust and who share your love of hunting.

All kinds of creeps on the internet. Baring your personal life on Facebook is not only somewhat narcissistic but downright dangerous these days.

And IMO the biggest animal rights creeps are also the worst abortion facilitators.

Pretty girl ... and pretty impressive getting close enough to make the kill with a bow.

I’ve never been a fan of that “standing in triumph with your foot on the carcass” pose, though. It seems disrespectful.

Why hide and skulk in the shadows like a coward? It's time to get in their face, and not worry about blowback.

Live free, or die. It's not just a catchy state motto.

If you kill a male lion with a bow, I think you’ve earned the right to stand in triumph on the carcass.

< shrug >

It seems disrespectful. To me. I find it off-putting regardless of the animal. I don't like it, and I don't do it.

MHO. YMMV.

And I've never killed a lion of either sex ... maybe the experience would change my mind, but I doubt it.

'nuff said.
