I have discovered over the last 2 or 3 years that wheat causes problems in my gut, colitis, etc. The doctor did a blood test for gluten sensitivity and I came out negative according to the test BUT if I eat something made out of wheat more than once a week................ I am very sorry that I did.

Whole wheat bread or Store bread that has been processed into a brown slime, then
back into something that looks like bread? I don't eat processed bread since
I learned how to make my own. Store bought gives me indigestion and really
messes with my weight. Making my own has no bad effects.

It made perfect sense. Our bodies require bacteria to fully process food, but between our over processed diets, sterilizing our environments, and taking antibiotics as a standard treatment, these beneficial bacteria are either killed off outright or not staying as plentiful as they should.
Replenishing them with probiotics was a smart choice...for me anyway. Watching carbs is one thing, but days of misery vs. no biscuits, cake or pizza.....EVER?
Just shoot me now! :-)

Haven't been tested - would be interesting.
My own experimenting tells me gluten hurts my guts, etc, too.
Its a trade off. Give up some foods that make my stomach unhappy or eat foods I really, really like but have negative reaction when I eat them.
