Richard Kopf, a senior United States district judge in Nebraska, thinks the Supreme Court needs to learn when to "stfu."

Kopf made the recommendation in a post on his personal blog July 5, where he argued the recent Hobby Lobby ruling demonstrated the high court's need to stay away from "hot button cases."

Ok. Well, let’s talk after the USSC rules or just deliberates on the case of the Little Sisters of the Poor

court's need to stay away from "hot button cases."

I'm more than a bit curious as to dummKopf's thoughts on "Roe v. Wade", or "Doe v. Bolton", or "US v. Miller", or "DC v. Heller", or "McDonald v. Chicago". For example. Since the court needs to "stay away from "hot button cases"".

Not only that, but the pills in question, right on the box say not to be used as birthcontrol. Only to be used after a night of unprotected sex.

Politics has unfortunately entered into our Judicial System — egged on by the Media, the Lefts on the Supreme Court are criticizing their fellow judges and writing mini-manifestos in the form of harsh criticism toward their fellow Bench sitters.

“Kopf wil soon discover that this was a career-ending move.”

Let’s hope so, this man must be an imbecile. To say the Supreme Court should stay away from “hot button” issues makes no sense.

What does he want us to do, have a shooting war every time there’s a major disagreement in this country? Or would he prefer to decide these things himself?

We may not like the SCOTUS, we may not like their decisions, we most likely like some but hate others, but it is EXACTLY their role to decide “hot button” issues. And it always has been.

I suspect that Judge Scheisskopf wouldn't fare too well in a shooting war. People like him never seem to have a problem starting such things but they rarely ever survive them.

Some birth control pills act by making the uterine environment inhospitable to a fertilized ovum, out he or she goes

Some people make it their business to know this

The pushback is for Hobby Lobby people to ignore this

I don't know the details of that case. It must be different somehow from HL or else there would be no need to have it.

Those women, adherent to the Catholic Church and this teaching which draws from natural law as well as the bible and Gods Will are not going to participate in birth control

There will be such snots and that’s one reason why there are so many levels of appeals available.

So, he goes out to show he can’t stfu. how do these people get and keep these powerful positions? Those responsible should be held accountable.
