There's no doubt that the high-elevation range of wolverines is getting warmer, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Regional Director Noreen Walsh said.

The US government just released data that shows no warming (actually it shows COOLING) over the last 18+ years. This woman is a liar.

It would be possible for there to be overall US or global cooling while still having warming in “the high-elevation range of wolverines.”

Not likely, but possible.

The important part is that there has been a refusal to designate a species as endangered based on computer projections rather than actual data.
