I would ask them if pulling a top seller is a good business decision?
I would ask them if pulling a popular book just as the moviee tie-in is causing sales to explode is a good business decision?
I would ask them if pulling a book just as it cracks the NYT best sellers top 20 is a good business decision?
I would ask them if so obviously censoring a political view is a good public relations decision?
I would ask if they plan the traditional public book burning of the copies they have pulled from their shelves, of if it will be a private ceremony, given the poor optics?
Then I would ask if whoever made or approved the decision to remove a winning product from their inventory decision is actually smart enough to be their public face?
Then I would let them know that I'm going to start comparison shopping at Sam's Club...
I have never been in a Costco...Never will.
Maybe they will complete the cycle of censorship and have a massive book burning.
Email Costco...Tell them what you think:

I’m not a member and never will be.
Well, my renewal is up in a few months but Sam’s...welcome to my thousands of dollars I SPENT each year at Costco.
This action is just one more piece of evidence that even the adherents of this demonstrably failed ideology don’t believe it can stand up to a book.
Even liberals know that their beliefs are underpinned by lies, or else they wouldn’t fear....a book.
They fear the truth, as they must.
Liberalism is being exposed by Obama as the pipedream it has always been.
I see this as an acknowledgement that they know they’re wrong.
Costco’s founder loves Obama. I had to endure a nauseating half hour of my Econ teacher extolling the virtues of Costco’s founder. The accompanying video was even worse. It featured Biden at the opening of a Costco stuffing his face.
Government-inspired censorship. The USA at this time is no better than the soviet union was.
Ive seen stacks of liberal books from Gore, Clinton , Obama in my store many times. I’m emailing them and will tear up my card.
Of course. Where do you think food stamps get spent?
Anybody notice the 2nd name on the BoD list?
Bummer...
I've never purchased a book at Costco. Easier to click on a box on Amazon. (But I have no plans to buy D'Souza's book from either source.)
Boycotts never, ever work. However, a business plan of selling cheap commodity products in bulk at a time of commodity shortages and rising commodity prices might not work too well.
well, bye
I love Costco....guess next time I go shopping I will ask for book and see what happens....
WND sometimes get it wrong....
The movie was great....
The only entities Costco hurts here are . . . Costco.
I never found the need for 1 gallon sized Mayo or pickles.
*3500 copies sold on a roll out isn't bad---but it's not spectacular. Normally Barnes & Noble sets the stage with a pre-order. A pre-order of 20,000 copies is excellent, but I don't know how many B&N pre-ordered of this. However, once B&N does its pre-order, Costco and WM come in with their orders based on that.
*700 copies in a week when you have a movie premiering, however, is not sufficient to keep a book in WM or Costco. Don't get me wrong, it's a good number. But after 10 years, my "Patriot's History" still sells about 250 copies a week with zero publicity and zero marketing. We'll sell 700 in Christmas weeks, easy.
For comparison, "Patriot's History" after the Glenn Beck exposure was SHIPPING 19,000 copies . . . a day.
So, what I'm guessing is that the book did a good initial sale, then has tapered off significantly. Costco and WM only carry the very hottest books.
Again, not questioning whether Costco is a bunch of libs, but only providing a little inside baseball.
Already this month pulled my membership due to its policy of stripping those with concealed carry at the door to leave them defenseless.
Will be a Sam’s boy hereinout.
You can't make this stuff up.
It reminds me of a Seinfeld skit.
"And you wanted to be my Wholesale Shopping Headquarters"?
