Mitt Romney has said time and time again that he has no interest in running for president a third time.
But, on Sunday morning, CBS' Bob Schieffer said not to write off the idea of a 2016 campaign by Romney so quickly.
"I have a source that told me that if Jeb Bush decides not to run, that Mitt Romney may actually try it again," Schieffer said.

rino 2 will run if rino 1 doesn’t. yawn. kabuki makes me tired.
I think Bob Scheiffer is erect only because of Viagra.
LOL
Romney and Bush?
Dumb and dumber.
Either that or rigor mortis is setting in.
The Reaganites were purged out of the party leadership by the GOPe over the past quarter century.
Mitt couldn’t even beat John McCain.
Romney could not defeat the worst president in the last seventy years. Why in H3LL would we want him back?
What he said!
Ted Cruz
Look, I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. Im not trying to return to Reagan-Bush,
In time Romney became a supporter of democrats financially, a fund raiser, and a democrat voter.
Mitt Romneys 1992 Democratic Primary vote for Paul Tsongas a technocratic modernizer and reformer, but very much a Democrat raised some Republican eyebrows last week.
What hasnt been mentioned: Romneys vote formally enrolled him in the Democratic Party.
The speculation is that Romney had originally intended to challenge Ted Kennedy in the Democrat primary then decided to run as a Republican. This makes his 1994 campaign strategy much more understandable.
According to a Romney campaign spokesperson, Romney switched back. One doesnt know how Romney managed to switch back. According to the town clerk, Romney became an Republican only on October 19, 1993. The implication is that Romney had either never voted between his registration as a independent in 1979 and 1992 (so his vote in 1992 automatically enrolled him as a Democrat) or that he was a regular Democrat voters in those earlier elections and changed to Republican to run for Senate.
In nomination campaigns in the past, it's the GOPe being quite disciplined, offering up one combatant at a time against a spread like butter set of 3, 4, 6, whatever decent conservative GOPtp candidates. If the GOPe faltered, its candidate would bow out, while the replacement would step in.
Both Romeny and Jeb running simultaneously would water-down the GOPe vote.
Now, just need some discipline among the GOPtp candidates!
(For anyone who does not get the reference, it was a really stupid bomb of a movie.)
Christie, Bush, and Romney are not viable candidates, unless we are looking for a close second place in an otherwise winnable election.
Neither one. Ever.
They can run under the DemocRat party. The Detroit RepublicRats must be purged from the party. Fock them.
Hey Bob... pick a democrat... We can pick out own standard without your liberal elite help.
Yes, fifth-columnist Schieffer is still stealing oxygen.
