They’re Different.
It’s just the way it is ... some folks don’t WANT to tinker with their hardware ... Apple supplies them what they want.
Well, hermetically sealed personal computers/etc. is certainly a different concept.
I don’t tinker with my toaster, refrigerator, stove, TV, DVD player, Apple TV, Roku, car or dog. I just want stuff to plug in and work. There’s too much in life to experience and not enough time to do it. Keeping things in good working order and replacing worn-out stuff is enough as it is.
