Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, is advocating the impeachment of President Barack Obama.

IMPEACH ERIC HOLDER, FIRST!!! Go up the chain.....not down.
Obama is Law-Less because Republican “leaders” are BALL-LESS!!
the GOP is complicit and must go.
the GOP is composed of Romney backstabbers
and Obama supporters.
the GOP must go.
The best case scenario, of course, would be that the powers within the Democrat Party would pay Obama a visit, and ask him to step down. With her statement, Sarah is betting that there’s some thought being given to this within the party.
Notice the careful choice of the words “any politician”. She could have just directed her statement to those within the party she represents, but no, she said “any politician from either party”.
Obama is destroying the Democratic Party, and more importantly, allowing everyone to see the wrongness of liberalism itself. We would be doing the democrats a favor by yanking him off the stage. No, I don’t thing that’s what she’s after. This is a message to democrats that they’d better give him the hook, and she knows there are some within the party wishing to do so at this point in time.
Her reasoning here, I believe, is to precipitate a revolt within the party. We already can see there are some within congress, even in the Senate, who may be thinking clearly now about damage control. More importantly, potential donors need to think about where Obama is taking the party.
No, this wasn’t a message to Republicans, her statement was designed to get liberals to begin to think logically, and move to cut their losses.
Make no mistake, they won’t tell us what they’re thinking, but privately they must be considering removing Barack Obama before he takes them all down.
Who has the most to gain, politically, by removing Barack Obama from office? It’s not Republicans, not any more.
I remember having TN social studies class. Is that even taught now??
Cheap Jedi news tricks.
Excellent analysis.
OK say the RATS in the Senate vote against impeachment. The turd still has it on record like KLINTOON.
The RATS will have to defend their decision.
We can't let the scum completely OFF THE HOOK. . . . . .
“The best shot at impeachment is after the election. whether we take the Senate or not (we wont). Well fall short by 1 and if we do take it by 1, I believe well have a defector. Perhaps McCains last insult to the Conservatives.”
Agree. No one would like to see Obama impeached than me. It takes a simple majority to impeach in the House and that probably could be accomplished. However, to impeach (convict and remove) in the Senate requires 67 votes (2/3 majority). Even if GOP should regain the senate it won’t achieve a 2/3 majority. And, then factor out the RINO’s and you begin to see the problem. So, sadly, all that impeachment would do is provide political theater for the Dem’s and take the publics eye off the ball...
the House should do it’s job and IMPEACH him (hell, i’d say you’re actually looking at treason, but we’ll let him slide with impreachment)
then let HReid try to defend 0bama’s record in the senate... a VERY unpopular record... going into an election
the press has been doing everything it can to keep any mention of the actual issues from getting to joe q. public. an impeachment trial would dump it in his lap
Not only that, they started working on the plan the very day after Nixon won 520 electoral votes and 61% of the popular vote.
But then, they knew what they wanted to do, unlike today's GOP.
agreed 100%...I’ve approached several sentaors (Repub’s) and ask them them this same question...it made them very nervous - which to me - says complicity!
eGOP....
Sarah Palin represents a conservative/libertarian perspective -- in and outside of the GOP. We have three parties now, the 'rats who are promising lots of free stuff, the eGOP promising free stuff, but less free stuff, and the rest of us who don't think politicians should be stealing and giving away other people's stuff at all.
It's unlikely that Obama will be impeached but of course he should be.
In any case, calling for impeachment is certainly a kinder, nicer, more polite thing to say than, say, hoping that he has contracted an incurable disease from Reggie.
2md Nitwit in a day to raise their ugly head from the WSJ. Some dingbat was on with Stuart Varney on Fox Business spouting the same nonsense as Kirstin Powers in regards to the Boarder crises. JUST LET THEM IN blah blah blah, doesn’t matter how many blah blah blah.
Clinton was impeached. We didn't get President Al Gore.
“What matters to her is not mastering issues or even being conversant on them; its politics as theatrics, as a show, as a way to prove ones purity.”,
What matters is the rule of law and the precedents the president is setting by expanding executive branch power.
The legislative branch needs an official historical record of his violations.
When asked, nearly all the opposition party states Obama has violated the Constitution multiple times. Then they say impeachment/conviction should not be done. Ask them WHAT should get a president impeached, if not those violations.
Funny how yesterday Obama said the border chaos that he created isn’t theatre.
The same idea used here.
