Carr, Flinn bash Alexander for immigration ‘flip-flop’ and ‘pretending’

After Sen. Lamar Alexander issued a press release (HERE) calling on President Obama to secure the nation’s border, his two chief opponents in the Republican primary promptly emailed media their own releases denouncing the incumbent.

From Joe Carr: “After recklessly voting for an amnesty that paved the way for the current border crisis, Senator Alexander is trying to fool Tennesseans by pretending to be strong on border security. If he were really serious about permanent solutions to this growing epidemic, Senator a Alexander would sign FAIR’s “No Amnesty” pledge as I have done and permanently abandon his war on Tennessee’s working families.”

From George Flinn: “The people of Tennessee deserve a Leader who will be consistent and transparent with regards to their position on key issues. While I’m glad that Lamar Alexander has finally decided that Border Security is important, he is behind the curve. When he voted in favor of the gang of eight bill that would aim to give millions of illegal immigrants Amnesty in 2013, it didn’t seem to be a priority then. The citizens of Tennessee deserve a leader who will not flip-flop on issues and will always stand-up and fight, not just during re-election.”

Pound him on amnesty. Hang McCain and Graham around his neck.

Reality has gone far beyond these silly old farts like Alexander and Cochran. They are figureheads; front men for RINO staffs and the RNC still trying to keep a very lucrative old party going and maximizing arrangements long ago made with the Democrats. They haven't figured out that the band died.

We's in trouble.

I almost barf every time I hear his ad come on the radio touting all of his conservative values and how he has fought for conservative issues in the past.

How about Mike “Tough Guy” Huckabee endorsing Lamar Alexander?

“If you wanna pick a fight with Lamar, you’ll have to go through me first!”

Geez......
